when i render my image instead of the diffuse map having a black background it has a grey background and when i try to use the alpha settings afterwards it doesnt work because its not black and its grey, please help. How did you make the diffuse map black in the render? 6:58
I tried but not get any error about it. Actually you can get diffuse map it could be enough in the blender
@@nonedesign3d i figured out the problem, turns out blender 4.0 has a bug that prevents you from using Alpha maps and there's other people complaining about it too, and i eventually fixed it without using alpha

Anybody knows how to force Materialize to open PNGs at their resolution? I rendered and saved as 2048x2048 but Materialize sees them as 512x512 which not only lowers quality but also creates artifacts.
If anyone else having trouble with particles not getting updated in realtime when changing settings, be sure to tick the box that says "Disk Cache" under "Cache" heading.

I don't understand what's happening at 9:18 (UV Editing in Blender is confusing the hell outta me).
Edit : nevermind, I just shift + D the plane and edit the UV to match a clump of hair, then rescale the plane. That works.

we are using this cards as a texture card later on a curve. you can check my other hair card video method is almost same
Kink doesn't even work..
Increase Strand Steps (In Viewport Display) and increase Steps (In Render -> Path) to the same amount

CTRL+T doesn't work btw
You have to go edit -preferences - addons - Node Wrangler and activate it
