Yeah it's a toss up to me I like the MC80 as it is more sensitive seems like I have to talk closer to it to get the same results from the M70, but I think the 70 is cleaner sounding they are both good mics. If I had the choice of only one it would be the M-70 it behaves a lot better with radio and I don't have to worry about over modulating like the 80 can...

I think your mic gain, should be higher 45-50-55.
I agree it can up more but my shop is noisy so I usually keep it a little lower than normal.

I have a MD-100 and the M-90. I may pull the trigger on this -70. I am more partial to the 100’s. Thanks for the video.
