    I'm in Botswana, next to South Africa where your Dad starting the business. I wish I could have bought those knives before he moved far to the US. Unfortunately I was born in 1986. But I'll.make sure I order them one by one. The backpacker, inkosi, Sebenza and Nyala are on my list ❤❤❤❤ love those knives. I think think they will pair well with mcnees PM 2. Which I have also .

    I come from multiple generations of tool users, metallurgists, and foundry men. I was taught to respect my tools and to buy the best quality I could afford. Your family's dedication to quality is the way craftsmanship should be. I just received my newest CR about a week ago. It's a left-handed small Sebenza in MagnaCut. It's everything I had hoped for and sure to serve me the rest of my retired life. I hope someone in the family can appreciate it for what it is someday.

    Tim, I ordered a Pacific and a Green Beret 3.5 years ago. Pricing was $325. I was told a one year turn around. After this time passed I received an email that the Company was going to make my Pacific. But, It would now cost me $375, not $325. Shipping made it $395. I ask the lady if the GB would be in production soon. The answer was, don't hold her breathe on this very long. essentially what was conveyed. Have purchase blades on the aftermarket. All Pacifics and GB's in FDE. Except one black Pacific. Point being, I was OK with a year, but 3.5 and then a price hike. Not honoring the price I ordered at is Bad Business. Nice Bump for the Finances. However, your customers/clients are getting the short end of the stick. That's not cool at all. Leaves a bad taste in our mouths. Nice blades, but there seems to be some arrogance in the front office when questioning the manager. Sorry to say these things, but since we are all family, I wanted to bring this to your attention.

    With excellent tooling, machinery and operators it's not difficult to make a great product. However it'd be wise not to underestimate the time and commitment required to go that one step further.

  • @beaurex4756

    It's a tough market to be in when Chinese knives are 98% the quality of the CRK at 1/10 of the price. CRK tries to convince buyers that slow, bulky action is "hydraulic " and justifies the $450 price. Haha.

    • @P1_M1ND
      @P1_M1ND ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s the tight tolerances, perfect design angles of the lock up interface, artistic design. It’s a perfected tool not meant for poor people like you.

    Sebenza 31 an absolute shame! That Ceramic ball bullshit. Inducing a pivot point so the blade rolls on that and the lock bar bends. It’s called lock bend/lock rock
    All totally normal they say… BULLSHIT.
    flumsy cheap appearance clip, crap thumbstud, ratteling lanyard pivot.
    If that’s the best quality, it clearly has nothing to do with highest grade.
    I am not impressed with my Sebenza 31 and I know the community is kinda dissatisfied about it.
