I am planning to do a return trip from Nairobi to Addis this December and back. I'll be travelling on my Subaru legacy me and my best friend, i cant wait to experience the scenery and wild virgin wilderness on the road, however we are lucky that the new road has been complete so no gravel. @pm We did take an overnight bus from Nairobi to Moyale on Jan 31, 2016. Beautiful paved road just finished by Chinese construction -- fast, comfortable and safe. Then, we continued overland trip all the way to Jordan. Chinese infrastructure all over the places -- Ethiopia, Sudan, Egypt... you name it. Our trip covered 40,000+ kms from Cape Town to Israel and Jordan.
