Whenever I want to hear a Blackstar amp i come straight to your channel. Blackstar needs to send you a thank you gift. You are the only channel I see consistently cover and sample their amps as soon as they are out.
@@SyzygyEmbrace ha I’m not going to turn that down yeah I have a lot of their gear here ,they are a great bunch to work with, the products I like a lot I usually do hang onto so no complaints here tbh It all depends on stock availability mainly
@@donciseau thanks that was the aim ,the cut control adds some top end cut and the solo is a volume boost which I believe is foot switchable. Shouldn’t be long before I get to demo the head as well but thought I’d get the specs out of the way so I can concentrate on the tones when it arrives 👍🏻
I’ve dabbled in a few amp sims, lately. I have Amplitube 5 MAX and a Line 6 Pod Express pedal and they’re both great. They’ll never replace my tube amps, though.
The Series one revamp was ok , but nothing new since they first appeared 15 years ago - this is more interesting, modern and innovative features - can't wait to see more !
@@vijay6404 Very excited for this one ,should be here over the next few weeks fingers crossed ….. I don’t like using the word gamechanger but it definitely is one on its own
This seems like it’s going to be one of the better options from Blackstar. I see the Hotone on the desk that thing is awesome when is the demo coming bro?🤟🏻
@ ha yes messed up leaving that on the desk The demo is done I’m just waiting on sorting the software so I can sell my catch’s The Evh catch is awesome
Awe hell yeah I am seriously thinking of getting one but I’m torn between the Stage2 but then I would have to purchase a expression pedal also so for $500 vs $700 and extra money for a expression pedal also I think the one one you’re desk will probably be the winner 🤟🏻
@ having tried both I would say if you only have like 4 presets per gig then the Ampero ii would be fine if not better due to the expression ,however if you use a ton of presets live the Stage would be better due to it being easy to bank around the presets

Now THIS is a much more interesting release from Blackstar. This is really a proper spiritual successor to the Series One.
I'm loving this amp, looking forward to seeing more about it, may be a good fit for what I want out of it.
@@GranTigerGaming same here it does everything I need
Excellent video !
Very educational!
