Love that you break into some Dokken and then DLR Knucklebones. My favorite tune from that album. Amp sounds amazing and your playing is incredible as always. Cheers!
First off, you’re playing is on fire, as usual. As forBlackstar, there’s something flubby about the tone, even in the tight position. As for this particular amp and most other amps overall, the EL 34’s sounds better to my ears.
you're rocking the dk24 i see...😊😊.. i think i've decided on the so cal snowy white with black pickguard... Charvel Pro Mod So Cal Style1 HH FR SW is my cup 'o tea...😊😊
@CameronCooper I got the same one recently and I love it too. I am not a fan of the white pickups though, swapped mine for black Duncans, it looks like my old PC1 now. 🤘🏻
I love that when you review equipment like amps or modelers, you don’t just recite the specs and leave the settings flat to ‘show what *_it_* sounds like.’ Instead, you actually try to dial in good tones to show what it *_can_* sound like. I really prefer that style-it makes a lot more sense to me, haha.
Cheers! I hate watching videos where people are just fiddling with the amp and not playing anything. People should just dial in their sound before hand and show off each channel at it's best.
I think the idea is to set the volume of each channel to your taste so the tone is right for you and also so the volumes are in proportion with the channels. Then you would use the one master volume to govern the overall volume
How do you know it needs adjusting? Some people say their amp needs fixing when in reality there's nothing wrong with the amp, they simply don't like the sound of it. Not saying that's you, I see this comment a lot about amps in general on my videos and people wasting loads of money repairing amps that aren't broken.
The beautiful thing about this amp is that will do pretty much any sound you'd like within reason. I dialled in the tones that wanted and I prefer a clean channel to have a little break up. I also can't do the traditional mic to cabinet in my current set up
I'm speaking generally there for the viewer. The crunch sounds like two versions of AC/DC one's louder than the other. It can always be tweaked and refined in the software.
What do you want for Christmas 2024? 🎄
A Cameron Cooper charvel signature .
Better vibrato
I want to be able to take next week off and not have anyone from work call me with an “emergency.” 😂
skill
One of these heads now! Lol
Great review (and playing)! Thanks

I like it and I love that you Carmen showed it to us I swear you get better every time I here you brother
Wow...the tube style switch......killer!!!!
Gotta love the OD2 tonal option.
I’m going to have to give this one a go! Nice work!
Didn't expect Shinedown - Cry for help as your opening riff. Nice surprise 👍😊
I love The Sound Of Madness. Probably one of my favourite rock albums
Dude’s playing is CLEAN…
Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Grande Cameron !!

Probably can be rectified by dialling in a different sound using Cabrig.
Peace on Earth 🙏 Merry Christmas to all

The DK24 FR seen here is my favourite guitar of all time. Nothing comes close to it

Yeah, I hate videos where people are just fiddling with the amp and playing a chord or two. Dial in a sound that shows off all the channels.

It's a little fizzy for me. Sounds exactly like an old Carvin V3 I had
Yeah I felt the same way. Reminds of the old Carvin amps. Which is not awesome.
Maybe that's the sound I dialled up. This will do whatever you like though. I just dialled in the tone I wanted to use for the demo.
Shame it hasn't got a second master volume for all channels, then it would be perfect.

Amber still your favourite?
Absolutely
What are the speakers in the 4 x 12 cab?
A lake domain album.
I've been watching many of these new Blackstar amp videos and have to say im very impressed. That sound we all striving for.
Sounds pretty fizzy
I've got a blackstar that needs bias adjustment. Every amp tech within 50 miles said they won't touch blackstar. Think about that before buying.

Cleans? What cleans? Not for one second do I hear a valve tone. Everything sounds super thin and fizzy IMO.
Great playing as usual though.

And this is supposed to be the AC/DC sound? Hilarious 😂😂😂😂

Nice! But I'll stick with my Amped 3. It's probably even lighter!
so its light jvm😂😅
I'd rather have a light JVM over a heavy JVM
@CameronCooper me too:-)
at almost 2 grand better be good.
It is still blacksturd crap 😂😂
I agree, thankfully it is really good!!
A bad tradesman blames their tools right, John ;)
