This game taught me something, Losing something is not a reason to lose hope, because others may benefit and we should still press on. It's never over until the journey has ended.
Oh. My. God. I got this game for Christmas, and I was not prepared for the ending at all. Ori is without a doubt one of the best game series I’ve ever played.
It's funny because when I first heard this something inside told me to brace myself for a sad end to Ori's journey but I never expected it to be as sad, as heartbreaking as it was. Yes this lovely tune really gives the feeling of setting off to fulfill one's Destiny.
@weirdalfanatic2788 I try not to look at it as a sacrifice, more like moving on to the next Stage of his life. That said it didn't stop me sobbing my eyes out for most of the night and even now when I think about it I still tear up. I'm going to miss Ori and his World so much, he was my light during dark times and as a coincidence as it may be Ori came out not long after my father passed away.
My nephews mother died at the age of 32 because of heart cancer. She didnt survive and my nephew and his father was crying. Even to this year he still think of his mom... when i played this song when he was sleeping at my house he cried. I asked him why and he said this reminded him of his mothers lullaby she sang for him.
Sad thing is we probably won't get something as close to this ever again... I love side to side platform games and normally their story telling and gameplay are solid but ori honestly u felt connected... music instantly locked me in...
Yeah, in Hebrew. Maybe in some other languages too. Ori is actually a pretty common name here in Israel. I personally know at least 2 people with that name. That is why the name of that game sounds kind of funny for ua at first lol.
I love that the devs garnered a lot of inspiration from various different languages around the world for the names. For instance, Mount Horu's name is derived from the Czech word "hora", which means Mountain. Kinda thought that was funny. lol
Games are Masterpieces in such many ways. Visualy, Art and Music, this is why i love games so much, cause they touch you emotionaly and you can lose you in beautiful worlds.
It's not often I find a game that makes me want to sit on the main menu screen for several minutes, just listening to the title theme. But I had so many great memories from the first Ori that I did just that, and I didn't regret it. I just sat there, basking in the beautiful stillness.

Sales are likely low-ish. With GamePass, a whole lot of people getting this game on Xbox won't be paying for it directly. That being said, I'm sure they have metrics showing how much it has been downloaded through GamePass, and how much time was spent playing it. This title may normally miss the radar for the AAA COD/GoW/Halo/TLoU crowd. But if subscribed to GamePass, a lot more people may give it a shot. That was me with Hellblade. Fantastic game, and I would have never tried it if I had to buy it.

How i can explain this beautiful sound, When i started, when i didn't knowed yet, what a beautiful yourney is front of me. I almost cried by nostalgia. This is what a game should like...
This was the first time in a very long time I actually waited on the main menu just to listen to this music before starting the game & every other time when continuing from a save. It's just that beautiful. It's also very sad and I wonder why until I got more and more to completing the story. This sequel is beautiful and freaking sad. I had to fight those urge to not shed so many tears.
This game was probably one of the best games I’ve ever played I absolutely loved the music and the story line I hope that they make a third one. I listen to the music all the time on my playlist
Sadly it seems as there wont be a sequel to it that contains the main character Ori as they transformed into a tree but that means that you wont play as ori themselves anymore and you might play as some other character in the world
This game is the best of 2020 in my opinion the gameplay, music, story, feel, and the characters its just a blend of beauty I hope moon can release a third game
Just like Ori and the blind forest, having to leave the menu of this game even to play the game was already a challenge. I mean, how can you create this and not spend at least 10 real minutes listening to it?
I've only seen gameplay of the first game (hopefully gonna get it for my Switch) but WOW it looks amazing! And the second game looks even better! The menu theme is beautiful, thank you for remixing it!

I started reiminscing The Blind Forest with it, then after playing through and experiencing the hardships, the sorrows, and that...that ending...this theme resonates like ten times stronger and has easily become a favorite of mine. This game's music is so absolutely amazing to build off its own experience like that. Easily among the top pieces of music I've ever listened to, imo.
Я в шоке. Прошёл год с того момента как я играл в эту игру, а 5 лет назад я играл в первую часть Орика.😓😭 Как же давно это было, эх. А мелодия вызывает самые лучшие ощущения😓😌
Такая же фигня
Warms my heart.
Ori and the will of the wisps is truly the best game of 2020
omg this music is pure heaven
How i can explain this beautiful sound, When i started, when i didn't knowed yet, what a beautiful yourney is front of me. I almost cried by nostalgia. This is what a game should like...
This game is one of the best games I've ever played and this music gives me goosebumps every single time.
This music is so relaxing
This game truly is a masterpiece.
it's not a game though;
it's art
THIS IS SO RELAXING, I LOVE IT
Thank you Ori for your courage! 💫 Best modern platformer! Brilliant music, stylistically vibrant with a beautifully executed story! ❤️
Sadly it seems as there wont be a sequel to it that contains the main character Ori as they transformed into a tree but that means that you wont play as ori themselves anymore and you might play as some other character in the world
This is soooooo beautyfull...i was near to tears. I LOVE this main Theme.
Instant goosebumps ._______.
"i embraced the light... when my name was ori"
"It was the Will of the Wisp..."
While listing to this i can remember the game with full of tears ❤😢
This game was powerful ❤
听哭了,ori系列是我近年来玩过最好的游戏!
One of only few game developing studios in Austria...really well done!
My buddy picked this Game up on a whim and told me to try it. I’ve never been so pleasantly surprised by a game. It was awesome
We need more games with this vibe and level of design such a beautiful game even on regular Xbox
This game is the best of 2020 in my opinion the gameplay, music, story, feel, and the characters its just a blend of beauty I hope moon can release a third game
Damn, even steam says this is a masterpiece! 😳😭
This game is so emotional especially with that music…. So beautiful
A great game ... there is not a day that does not forget its great melody ..
Just like Ori and the blind forest, having to leave the menu of this game even to play the game was already a challenge. I mean, how can you create this and not spend at least 10 real minutes listening to it?
It's making me feel comfortable sad. I mean I feel sad but it's a happy kind of sadnes.
Have you played the ending, you describe the exact vibe.
@@xSayPleasex I haven't played it. Only watched the let's play of Zombey
this helps me find my relaxing place
I've only seen gameplay of the first game (hopefully gonna get it for my Switch) but WOW it looks amazing! And the second game looks even better! The menu theme is beautiful, thank you for remixing it!
