The end is really beautiful, but I have to admit, [SPOILERS] I really wished Ori could have been together with his family again at the end. His sacrifice was beautifully selfless and awesome, but I wished Naru could have held him one more time.
She and the others were around him for many many years before they all grew old and passed away next to him.Ori is there but in another form and has a higher responsability as the bringer/giver of life.
Literally clickbait, the logo (on steam at least) shows both of them together with Ku's wing healed so wtf is that? I expected Ku to be a huge part of it but then they were dead for 95% of the time and then when they weren't Ori became a tree

When the end credits start, you really feel as though you just finished watching an epic and heart wrenching movie rather than a video game. The music is that good.
OBRA MAESTRA!!!
I don't care who you are, where you are, where you came from, who you work for, when is your time period, or why you even exist in the first place, but if you DIDN'T cry whenever you played BOTH Ori games, then you're not even human. You are a husk, devoid of all personality and emotions. Edit: I may have gone a bit overboard. Sorry lmao I just love this game
I’ll admit, I’m certain I got choked up on certain moments in the game, but that doesn’t make us inhuman machines dude, if anything the ending in Ori and the Blind Forest was to a certain degree, very underwhelming and maybe I would even say disappointing. And I’m sure there are others who agree with me. But hey, I love these games to there core, there music, the somewhat simplistic yet charming story, all of it.
it's hard to think how Nintendo chose just a fancy green-haired guy with some anime guys' music instead of Ori and its wonderful music It would have been amazing to hear this after completing world of light
After completing the whole game story- it doesnt feel right to go back and get everything I missed. My jaw dropped when I heard the narrator say "When my name was Ori."
I'm playing through this on a 120Hz OLED TV and loving it. Played the first game on Game Pass, and it is legit at the level of the best Pixar movies, where you're like "Dom dee dom, let's play us some vidya!" and then the game is all like "OK! But also, FEEL ALL THE THINGS!!!!" and I'm like "OK! 😭😭😭". So beautiful! So sad! So good! This is a sort of Metroid -> Super Metroid situation, where the sequel is a real evolution of the first game, while preserving the spirit of the original. It's truly a sight to behold at 120FPS. You no longer can see pixels or frames or anything, so it just becomes this sort of living artwork you interact with. I'm already getting tissues ready for the ending, only like 20% into this one!
You know what hurting the most ? We spend 100 of hours to grow our Ori and at the end he sacrifices himself not just Ori but the gumo and naru also disappears means they probably dies as well, but the most broken part is the anew Life a Leaf from that spirit tree. But the Studios ? They have their own issues and they doesn’t want to continue 😢
This game are a loop (kinda) is the reason Moon studio are not making ori 3 (because ori are the spirit tree, do you think we gonna play a tree?) Ori did not die ,ori become the spirit tree of life. Ori are seed of the spirit tree .Gumo and Naru die is sad I know. (Bad English :( )
My theory is that when ori was telling the story from the beginning and then and the end a new white leaf got realesed on ori's tree i think thats a sequel because the new character is not gonna be ori i think its gonna be a new hero or something aside that this game is acctually well made and the stories are really good.
This game will not have any successor. Any story that can be told in this Ori universe has already been told. But Moon Studios is, like always, working on something even larger than this since 2015.

A beautiful series. I will never forget that little guy.🥰
Until i see you again.👋
5:22 my favourite part💕
@@spiritofsound8469 luma pools, wonderful song!
Im not sure since Ori isnt dead. He is just the spirit tree
This soundtrack is a masterpiece
The end is really beautiful, but I have to admit, [SPOILERS]
I really wished Ori could have been together with his family again at the end. His sacrifice was beautifully selfless and awesome, but I wished Naru could have held him one more time.
She and the others were around him for many many years before they all grew old and passed away next to him.Ori is there but in another form and has a higher responsability as the bringer/giver of life.
he always was, just in a different form :D
@DoomSlayerFan88 But Ori is just a kid, I’d rather hope to see him play and have a good time with family.😢
They are engraved on "Ori's body"; on the three you can see 'em engraved... So they are still together they will grow as the Ori grows...
Literally clickbait, the logo (on steam at least) shows both of them together with Ku's wing healed so wtf is that? I expected Ku to be a huge part of it but then they were dead for 95% of the time and then when they weren't Ori became a tree
Tbh, it's one of the best games I've ever played in my entire life.
Best game i have ever played😭 nevera want to stop playing this game and hearing this music
Ever had one of those moments where words can't express how great something was?
That's me and this game...
Beautiful.
Ok so warning if you read this there might be some spoilers in this comment
This credit track is not in the official soundtrack you can buy it is a remix of light of nibel from the first game and then it jumps to the new soundtrack which has sein, escaping the sandworm, and Luma pools, and for a few seconds in the end it returns to light of nibel.
The vocals from the Luma Pools are different from the OST, it's nice to hear a different cover of a song I love a lot
Masterpiece.
When my name was ori
*MINDBLOWN*
So what about Nibel?:v
@@123abhuynh2 that was ori still telling his tale
@@123abhuynh2 Nibel is forgotten. It’s kinda why I find this ending a double-edged sword. Ori sacrificing himself for Niwen when it’s not even his own Forest. Felt a little forced, IMO.
@@bekker5000 who cares if it is not your place , self sacrifice for the greater good is something people dont understand but it is okay.
@@bekker5000 may not have been his to start with but it was when it was all over. Ori was a seed from a spirit tree; seeds get flung far from their parent tree pretty often in nature so it made sense that Ori wound up somewhere that wasn't his home originally.
this game really hit hard
Every time I finish it again and again I can't stop cry it's just so emotional to know that Ori is well ye
I lost my heart for a whole minute after beating the game.
When the end credits start, you really feel as though you just finished watching an epic and heart wrenching movie rather than a video game. The music is that good.
"I embraced the light
When my name was Ori
It was the will of the wisps
That life begin anew"
You know I remembered this quote from a movie that fits the ending to this
“When one story ends another begins”
OBRA MAESTRA!!!
I think, thats the best game music since Oot
This is the only game that brought me to tears one of the best x box studio games ever made
This was my first time crying from a video game
a game will never make me feel the same as i did while playing Ori&WOTW
I don't care who you are, where you are, where you came from, who you work for, when is your time period, or why you even exist in the first place, but if you DIDN'T cry whenever you played BOTH Ori games, then you're not even human. You are a husk, devoid of all personality and emotions.
Edit: I may have gone a bit overboard. Sorry lmao I just love this game
Guess I'm not human then
Welp... guess I'm having an identity crisis right now lol
Don't get me wrong tho, really LOVE the game ❤!
But hey, I love these games to there core, there music, the somewhat simplistic yet charming story, all of it.
the part where shreik cudles up with her dead parents as she dies almost got me
its just tearjerking story is complete shit its like disney movie level
This was the game that helps me during the lockdown thx
I’m an adult men but in the end I cried like a baby..
I think the most of us did :,))
Me too
this was the first game that made me cry
it's hard to think how Nintendo chose just a fancy green-haired guy with some anime guys' music instead of Ori and its wonderful music
It would have been amazing to hear this after completing world of light
Man my emotions died with my hate for spiders while playing this game
they are so cute
2 years later still so sad 🥲💔
bro how could this get 136k views yet they only have 84 subs!? Make that 85 but this is outrageous! This deserve way more subs, say about 100,000!!
fun fact "Ori" means My Light in Hebrew :)
After completing the whole game story- it doesnt feel right to go back and get everything I missed. My jaw dropped when I heard the narrator say
"When my name was Ori."
¿Estoy feliz o estoy triste?.
I know, right?
« I embraced the light
When my name was Ori »
You know what hurting the most ? We spend 100 of hours to grow our Ori and at the end he sacrifices himself not just Ori but the gumo and naru also disappears means they probably dies as well, but the most broken part is the anew Life a Leaf from that spirit tree. But the Studios ? They have their own issues and they doesn’t want to continue 😢
This game are a loop (kinda) is the reason Moon studio are not making ori 3 (because ori are the spirit tree, do you think we gonna play a tree?)
Ori did not die ,ori become the spirit tree of life. Ori are seed of the spirit tree .Gumo and Naru die is sad I know. (Bad English :( )
Pain... my heart is in painnnn ahhhh!
very touching.
I crying this moment 😭😭 💔
I am already have tears seeing all the comments without even playing the game
imagine listening this in 5.1 audio (surround sound). Lemme get the taste of heaven!
The Song of my People its calling and i cry
*I embraced the light, when my name was Ori*
Me: *GASP* NO WAY IT WAS YOU!
“Edit”
4 months from now more obsessed than ever
¡Ori es perfecto!
A GAME YOU WISH CAN FOR THE FIRST TIME AGAIN
As great as the Ori games are, I don't recommend playing them if you have feelings
0:17 0:24
00:06:47 and that's how this beatiful story ends
Pain, agony even, sorrow if you will
the new light of nibel variation sound great
'Light of Nibel'
Something weird is that this is not on the official album of the game’s soundtrack.
Este juego es una verdadera joyita 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
My theory is that when ori was telling the story from the beginning and then and the end a new white leaf got realesed on ori's tree i think thats a sequel because the new character is not gonna be ori i think its gonna be a new hero or something aside that this game is acctually well made and the stories are really good.
This game will not have any successor. Any story that can be told in this Ori universe has already been told.
But Moon Studios is, like always, working on something even larger than this since 2015.
The first part of this theme made me cry the first time I heard it, I was really touched with the story of this great game, does anyone knows if this theme it's included in the soundtrack CD? I haven't been able to find it.
I have the album and it's not on it, strange.
"Light of Nibel" from the soundtrack of the first Ori game (Ori and the Blind Forest)
@@callandor4704 Excellent! Thank you!!
imagine how i felt when i finally got to watch and hear this soundtrack live a week ago, with an orchestra, choir and Gareth himself on the piano. Unbelievable
I want another game like Ori that hits you in the gut with sadness. The ending of the first game had me in tears but for some reason the second didn’t. Not sure why.
because first game is super bitter for Kuro while Shriek is tragic but Kuro lost its children and its own life.
"When my name was Ori"
Who the fuck disliked this masterpiece
