I had no idea the EU version of GH1 had an exclusive video. That's sick! I also had no idea Bang Your Head was going to maybe be in GH2. I've been a huge fan of these games for years and I thought I knew a lot about em Very nice video!
The live footage is from a Harmonix event called "Be A Guitar Hero". IIRC it was a promotional Battle-Of-The-Bands event with top prize being a song by the winning band winding up as a bonus setlist. This prize was eventually won by Graveyard BBQ, hence the featuring of "Cheat On The Church". The songs featured from the live footage are primarily bands with affiliations to Harmonix, so I'm guessing it was a winner's showcase. The performances are, in order: Honest Bob & The Factory-To-Dealer Incentives - "Hey" The Acrobrats - "Callout" The Acrobrats feat. Jason Kendall - "Guitar Hero" (the band who recorded "Guitar Hero", Monkey Steals The Peach, are essentially Kendall plus three Acrobrats members) Graveyard BBQ - "Cheat On The Church" I also seem to recall that Be A Guitar Hero was also hosted for GH2, which was won by The Last Vegas with "Raw Dog"
Interesting character, design concept, artwork! I think the Indie character concept artwork would later inspire Simon Grimsie, who is an exclusive character within the DS game GHOT Modern Hits
@@noway9320 I mean Harmonix is still not rehiring Buch for the whole GameShark thing, despite giving permission. And RBN was a way for the low-end indie musician to get their music in the game legally, so it was just a technicality.
I don't have any current plans to talk about the Neversoft games, but I might consider it at a later date because I do know a couple of unused things in those games that are kind of interesting.
Too bad Trippolette didn't make it in the final GH1 setlist or even GH2. Was one of the more fun songs to play for people that played too much Guitar Hero
Awesome video! Very thorough and I even learned things i didnt know before. Also thanks for the Deluxe shout out!
Hey jnack do you have a plan for doing a rock band 4 dlc video background?
6:52 You know what, it would be really nice to have these extra bonus videos to be uploaded on TH-cam.
Wow that little discord interview is super recent, did not know there were still employees that remembered anything

Is that the genuine Shigeru Miyamoto or someone wearing a 2D cut-out of Shigeru Miyamoto on their face?
It's a 2D cut-out.
As the founder of MiloHax, I must stress that it's pronounced like "my low" :)

That drawing looks like a knight looking out of his armor
Interestingly, Trippolette would later get an official release via the Rock Band Network.
time heals all wounds I guess

Those are safety pins.
Can you share the cheats you are using for the widescreen mode? Looks much more accurate than the common for PCSX2

Here from a recommendation from RedBerylFTW (whom I was just recommended by… TH-cam’s algorithm). Great video and you got a new sub.
Fantastic video! Do you have plans to cover any further guitar hero games?
I don't have any current plans to talk about the Neversoft games, but I might consider it at a later date because I do know a couple of unused things in those games that are kind of interesting.
How did you get to play GH1 with Hyperspeed? Cheers.
I used the mod Guitar Hero 1 Deluxe. You can grab it here: github.com/Milohax-archive/Guitar-Hero-Deluxe

The goat game
No lie first 2 seconds gave you a mean dislike
How because the screen was black for a second??
