Highly recommend anyone starting method feeder fishing to use a drennan inline method feeder. It also comes with a mould to help mould the method mix onto the feeder

From what i've been watching on here in another video with Tommy Pickering is to use a Banjo feeder for winter so for this time of year go with the Banjo, as it reduces the amount of feed going out each time.

Great video thanks Andy. I'm just wondering wouldnt a five turn grinner knot be just as strong if not stronger than that ten turn (or more) half blood knot for tying on the quick change hook?

how about a wee bit of instruction for us beginners with the in-line Method Feeders that have the swivel already attached the the base of the feeder, or are these feeders no good

Can you use a regular hook length instead of the hook length in the video because I don't really go carp fishing but I'd love to start method feeder fishing but fish for tench and bream

David Grenham yes you can and use maggots or sweet corn as bait

The purpose of a short hooklength is to create a bolt effect which makes the fish hook itself usually 4inches is used
