I think this calendar was definitely worth it. For the price you pay you get things that you’d use almost daily, even if some of the items weren’t exactly Harry Potter themed they were still cute and useful. In my opinion the items in this calendar were better/more useful than the ones you got in the previous video on the ‘official’ Cinereplica HP calendar and you ended up paying more than £50 less.
This was really cute! For the price there’s really nothing to be mad about. I feel like there are more and more huge expensive calendars every year but not everyone can or wants to splurge on that. So I really appreciate a well done option that just gives you a cute little something every day. The blue and gold design looks beautiful, the items are useful and not too many repetitions. Compared to the cinereplicas this was way better value for money imo. Shame it’s discontinued!
The golden wand was probably in door number 6, because it seems like this calendar was produced for the EU market. Here in Germany wie celebrate on the 6th "Nikolaus Tag" . On the morning of the 6th people find small presents as a surpreis in their cleaned shoes. Some advent calendars therefor have behind door number 6 "bigger" surprises :)
In the Netherlands we celebrate “sinterklaas” on the 5th. We do presents in the evening. Most families with young kids celebrate the 5th instead of christmas.

I don´t think it was produced for the EU market, at least not germany. The 24th was a mere rubber/eraser. It´s the day of celebration and the day presents are given. We count the 25 as just one of the christmas days and not part of Advent, so it should not even be on the calendar here
It's actually pretty cool how it's very school or at least office themed. Kids would love to take the items to school, and adult fans like to bring some magic into their office 🙂
I had this calendar last year. When I brought it, it was already a few days in to December, so it was only £5. I also love the wand pen and really liked the little notebook out of it.
Another enjoyable calendar. I love that a lot of these have 25 doors to open. Love that you are wearing another jumper, it's gorgeous by the way. I was a teacher for 19 years and then a school librarian/ teacher 15 years, and I have always loved office supplies. My favorite are unique and fun shaped paper clips. I was known as the sticky note queen at my last school, because I had several drawers of sticky/ post- it notes in many fun shapes and designs. I'm so glad the you found the slipped out pieces, I was sad for a minute thinking someone had removed pieces before sending it. Always love the videos, Cherry. I think the 4 push pins would have made more sense if; instead of a star on each, it would have had the house symbols for each one. In my opinion anyway. A bit more magical than just 4 with the same star design
“I’m a walrus!” was one of the funniest and most wholesome things I’ve seen in a long time. I legit laughed so hard I snorted 😂 😂 Also this type of advent calendar is right up my alley of favorite things - Harry Potter, stationary items, and tchotchkes-type things all in one! I would totally have been just as excited about thing like the golden paperclips, golden wand pen, and post-it’s ❤❤❤

Cherry, as for the golden wand pen. When you open it, slide the lid on the end of the pen and it'll look like a proper wand you can write with. I have the same one, but mine's brown :D
Can't be compared with the 70£ Cinereplica Deluxe one u got. THIS ONE IS SO MUCH BETTER! It's simple, yet kinda pretty, and useful stuff. Plus, 12€ is a really good price for the items that u get.

I got a stationary HP themed calender from TKMaxx last year on the 2nd Dec reduced to clear so I paid like a fiver (£5) My washi tape says 'Property of Witchcraft and Wizardry' . The whole calender was fab!!!
20 quid is about 23 euros, I reckon. So, given the original 12 euro price tag, someone's made almost 100% profit on this calendar, the crafty buggers 😂

I really enjoyed this calender although the stars on highlighters/pins could have been deathly hallows or scar/glasses or owl or any other wizarding image instead of a generic one. I didnt like the first magnet with the books on, again too generic. It would have been nice as a DA coin. I also think 25 should have been the gold wand but they probably wanted a bigger door for the last one. I really like 25 door calenders. 🦡✨️
Might sound creepy but my daily rutine became. At 19:00(time zones..😅) right into the bathtub and watch another Advent calendar video from Cherry Thank you, I really really LOVE these videos too 😁😁💛💛✨️✨️
I use the bulldog clips in that size for cord organization if you have a bunch of chargers you keep plugged in for easy use like me it's very handy so the side of my desk is covered in little hooks with initials on them that say what each thing is for and hanging from those hooks are these clips with the charging end of the charger so I can just peek over, grab the one I need, and when I'm done I can rehang it (the larger ones are good for chargers you don't need to keep plugged in because they're not as needed. They're also big enough you can put the label right on the clip)
I definitely think it’s worth the price! Lots of cute stuff and I like how everything coordinates too, instead of being obviously random bits from over stock.
Wow. What a difference a calendar makes. Did you say Primark..... gorgeous designs on the stationary to be fair. Even the pencil sharpener logo is lovely. I'm always a happy bunny with nice stationary . I'd certainly get this one. I too am a sucker for pretty shape paperclips and sticky notes and sticky jotters. I'm defo a post-it note addict
The two-tone star pattern kills me, it's so tacky, like- just slap the Hogwarts crest on it. HP doesn't own a two-tone star when I see that design I just think like old school punk music or something. I will say overall though it seems like a decent calendar, especially for 12 euros? I think the erasers are easily the coolest thing, but overall it's not bad imo.
The 25th day always takes me by surprise, I just can't get used to it. So for me the tape was like a bonus. 🙂 Anyway this calendar is SOOO cute, especially for children tho I wouldn't mind using some of the items myself. ☺️

It took me a second to remember, but the things that come off the pencil in the sharpener are called shavings!!
