I have 6 massive jades all from cuttings living in my conservatory where it get very hot in summer and very cold in winter, all mine flower. I think the trick to flowering is light. As soon as I move any in to the house they stop flowering.
I need to Repot my jade plant because it’s overcrowded in the pot. I’d like to separate. I am need of suggestions as to what is the best soil for it. I’ve just got it 3 months ago and I’ve seen a big difference already. All of the stems has branches which makes me super happy about considering the fact that I plan to bonsai it in the future. Also I’d like to know how often does it need food plant & when to put fertilizer? Please help thank you 😊
Hi Esther, apologies for the delay of answering your queries with my Jade plant, I use loam base soil with some of perlite (a type of soil that does not hold a lot of water). I fertilized my Jade during growing season (where I live that would be spring and summer). How often? well everytime I water it doing those season. Hope it answers your question.
Hi hope you're ok. Mine took nearly 10 years but saying that I have it from a keaf that I grew. Depending on how old is your plant and its exposure from cold area during winter season.
