Wait wait hold up, wait a second, so gordon meet his prototype self and today he saw the screaming about his rebuild at crew wondering what happened back then as a failyer he was, 1983 pilot vibes

@@ryandas-kx5pu it actually makes sense for a place like Sodor with all of the gradients, Sodor is full of hills and the A1s and A3s were built in mind of the ECML which were full of flat terrain but with Gordon’s three cylinder conjugated valve gear, it was hard for him eventually wearing him out. The only reasonable thing to do was to rebuild him into an efficient form which he can work on the NWR which make him a 2-cylinder engine which is the Crewe rebuild
@@DoncasterResonance I never understood why the NWR loved to make their engines non standard. I understand it with Henry. And in real life. Thompson got criticism by enthusiasts for rebuilding Great Northern. Why wouldn't Stainer for rebuilding the "A0" prototype?
@@someNewYorkCentralfanRealistically they would criticize Stanier for rebuilding the first A1 in service which is Gordon, although it wouldn’t be as severe since Gordon is still a Gresley on the top half although the main point of being a Gresley is literally the conjugated valve gear etc

The jumpscare was so good. I never see a lot of distorted faces like thet in trainz horror content so it’s very interesting!

This is why I much prefer Gordon as an A1 or A3. Being this strange mix just isnt right for him

It's encouraging the fact that when Gordon went for a rebuild, he was replaced by a different engine, similar to the two Henrys theory.
