Tupac's '61 Impala Gets Incredible Makeover | RIDICULOUS RIDES

CHECK OUT this awesome ride made famous by Tupac Shakur and now reimagined, repurposed and driven by low rider fanatic Lloyd, from Long Beach, CA. The Tupac fan jumped at the chance to own a piece of the late great artist's collection and this 61 Impala is arguably as rare as it gets. The car boasts a 616hp chevy 350 engine, Dayton 13” tires, measures 16ft and weighs a whopping 38,000lbs and of course has hydraulics. Prominently placed in Tupac's "To Live and Die in L.A" hit record, the car clearly turns heads wherever Lloyd drives it. Speaking to Ridiculous Rides, he said: "I’ll drive down the street and someone will roll down the window and go, 'Is that the Tupac Live and Die in La car?' And the conversation starts from there. What makes this car unique is that he passed right after they used it and nobody ever put it back on the street."

Impalas are definitely one of my favorite cars ever made
That SAME orange '61 was ALSO the 1 used for King Tee's album cover. What's even cooler is the convertible top was also stitched to match the interior (orange & white stripes)!

@@jbone6993 Was it a hard top? I just saw an interview with Fasion Love on VladTV where he stated that it was the same '61. It's the interview where he's doin' it as "Big Worm/Perm"

A vacant home on my block. My homeboy brought to my attention. A car almost identical to this inside and out. Just sitting there under the car port. He gets in and hits the switches and they worked till the pressure left. The top was white though. Chrome all under the hood. It stayed there for like weeks. Back in the late 90s early 2000s

The all golds don't look right with the yellow. I think I'd have went with all gold center's with the chrome lip from a little more reflecting. Nice ride though.
Is it really difficult to paint over shabby car interior elements? And lubricate the body parts so that the trunk doesn't creak?

The car is tits. But I'm doubting that 616HP from that 350 naturally aspirated. I noticed aluminum heads, but it's not even cammed out nor does it sound as "tight" as an engine of that HP will sound. I'd bet it's more in the upper 300's to maybe max 450 hp. Not saying 600
N/A isn't possible, but this just doesn't got it.

Carbs have nothing to do with it. I make over 600 with a quick fuel carb and that’s without turning on the spray.

I own the perfect wheels for that car. The only set left in the world. It's a 13-7 25th anniversary all gold Daytons. Everything is engraved the dish the spokes The spinners. All from the factory. They made three sets two of them has been destroyed the set I own is the only rolling set
