This is the perfect example of "reputation takes lifetime to build and seconds to destroy"
It took time for her to realize how wrong she was. She never Apologized back then and was talking smack whenever she was asked about it and Blaming Sarah for ruining her Career, like Roseanne didn't do or say anything wrong. The whole thing could've been forgiven a long time ago. I know it hurts her to the Core seeing the Renamed Show Reboot back on again for a 2nd time without her.
What I can’t figure out, is back during the original show, Roseanne was somewhat of a pioneer of anti racism, women’s rights, and LGBTQ rights. Her show was VERY liberal, and she insisted on tackling the touchy and sometimes taboo subjects.
Who hasn't said something they later regretted? She said she's sorry in every way possible. Jesus forgives ALL of our sins, even social media sins. Bring her back to the show!!!

I too can sense remorse through her apology. Sure what she said crossed the line but then again we all make mistakes and say dumb things we don't mean. I think cancelling the show was a bit too exaggerated of a move by ABC since it meant the rest of the cast and directing crew lost their jobs. Nowadays people blow up every little thing someone said on social media. We (regular people) don't know her in her personal life so we can't say she's truly racist based on a single tweet that's trending. Not saying what she did was OK. But certainly a lesson learned. Move on!

Well her original show was very sweet and funny. The whole family was struggling with economic downturns and Dan's going in and out of work. But Rosanne never got far-right insulting ugly with her humor. Something has happened to her in the last 25 years or so because her show was so inclusive and liberal. I don't know why she has turned to supporting Trump like this.
