The Automatons give such Terminator vibes, complete with *Arnold Schwarzenegger accent* "phased plasma gun, 40watt range". Safe to say those shots are well in access of 40 watts.
This game is superb on the PS5! 10/10

I can't find anyone to play with on ps5. Played three missions alone. Tried quick play 5 times and tried dropping sos beacons. Nothing

btw those buildings can be destroyed by a single grenade inside the vents by the entrance no airstrike needed but yea those work too

Once spawned in and walked into some heavy fog. Big mistake as there were tons of high level enemies as soon as i did and they all took notice of me😂
i haven't had ANY matchmaking issues. in fact the only issue i had was crashing once on the character customization which i think happened to everyone. this game goes incredibly hard and i dont understand how it has mixed reviews on steam, 90% of negative reviews have less than .5 hours play time
Adding the stim seems realistic. But can't deny when you step into someone's mine by accident.
Any idea on how to get the matchmaking to work? I turned off cross play and it still won’t work :/
I am willing to bet it’s just those day one issues games always seem to have these days. Lots of people including my friend couldn’t get it to work, so it’s best to wait for the to drop hot fixes and patches
@@jamyorday well they better hurry, the fact that they didn’t have a stress test of their servers is beyond me. People are already review bombing this game and it may die before it even gets off the ground which is such a shame because this is some of the most fun I’ve had in a game
They're aware of it. I played 5 hours and couldn't join or be joined even once. They posted about it somewhere. I forgot the source

@@jamyordayi get what you’re saying but games have ALWAYS had day one server issues I remember when games like MW2 or halo 3 came out it took a good minute to get into a game but granite they did have campaign so you’d just play that till the servers went back up

It’s great but I haven’t been able to match with anyone. I’m 4 hours in and have only been able to play solo
I can’t play with other people for some reason. I’m on ps5 and I tried to turn off cross play. i’ve saw that it helps but it hasn’t for me. Is anyone else having this problem?

Seems like there is. Completing missions gives you credits to unlock new Stratagems or weapons. You also get medals used to unlock new armors and weapons in Helldivers version of a battlepass called war bonds. These war bonds don't expire like typical battlepasses. They are persistent so you can always unlock them even if you take a break but you just have to unlock in order of when they release

@@ChrisKennedyGuitars ahhh. I see. Not 100% sure on this since I got disconnected or the game crashed a bunch for me. There are samples you can find throughout playing the game. So I'm assuming those are used to upgrade the weapons and stratagems like the first Helldivers too.
There is a lvling system, In Helldivers 1 when you reach max lvl/rank you get unique gear hopefully they kept that in 2
I have not been this stoked for a game in YEARS! Absolutely loved HD1. Can't wait to get off work and play. Just seeing the trees being mowed down was so cinematic.
Edit: After watching the entire gameplay.. bro this looked like a damn hollywood last stand scene. What a fantastic job by the devs
What is there to keep the game fresh tho. I’ve seen gameplay and it just seems like it’ll get boring once the novelty wears off like most of these coop games vs ai

You can play in teams from 1 to 4 persons. But I can tell that on higher difficulties 4 players and mics are must have

Looks cool for sure but imagine if you could be the robots or enemies. PVP is better because every human has different skills and movement. However, bots are predictable and once you played enough its become repetitive because you basically know how they are coded and what their next movements will be. Hopefully they add the option to PVP. You can be a hell diver or enemy fighting against democracy.
