- This was our second time traveling from Chicago to Bangkok, Thailand. It was a 14.5 hour flight to Shanghai, a 3 hour layover, and a 4.5 hour flight to Bangkok. We touched down in Bangkok at 1 a.m. We are so excited to be back here! It’s been almost 2 years since our last visit to Bangkok. Watch till the end to find out where we got food from at 3AM. Hint: It's a backpackers heaven when they travel throughout Thailand.

I’m so excited for you guys to start your journey! Found your videos because I studied at Mahidol the semester after you guys did & also seriously considering going back for a longer period of time next year
resident physician here, yes you can get blood clots and in the ED a lot of patients (who are older 40-50yo plus) come in following flights where they are seated for prolonged periods of time and get blood clots which can shoot off into your lungs and cause a pulmonary embolus which are very critical and can be deadly! Watching this three years later curious if anyone else has commented this below :).
