I understand according to Duma Gqubule the word illegal is legal in South Africa but when you ar a South African go to nabouring countries do illegal things u got arrested, y South Africa actually leaders protecting criminals?
I normally like Duma's analysis, but today he fumbles, he said nothing that make sense, I suspect he also gain something from this illegal gold market.
Listen to this traitor. Shocking. He should be ashamed, while our government has its shortcomings, to place the blame on them is sickening. This thing has lost its mind!
You are a fool, Duma was the youngest detainee in eighties , he speaking truth to power someone like u are naive. We fought for 300 years of colonialism and 50 years of apartheid for the rule of law. U fool we have constitution incl u with sad sad view of Duma. I heard there i a white man overseas who is going to be president would love u to be there
He's talking like illegal mining is Legal immigrants? Less than 10 % is South African....wanting to create structures for them....and then speaks in the same breath about south africa's high unemployment rate...bizarre
Madam he clearly articulated why he objects to the term "illegal miners"...maybe you missed it. For the RSA citizens involved in informal mining DMRE has been talking for the past decade about the need to formalise & regulate artisanal mining (recall there are 6 000 abandoned/unrehabilitated mines in RSA in contravention by the mining companies of mine rehabilitation legislation, plus the post-1994 ANC policy of open land borders "because those countries supported us/gave us succor in exile"). So the Stilfontein tragedy rests squarely on the shoulders of the inept & incompetent RSA government...I'm Namibian BTW!!
4:51 People must stop quoting the constitution to justify crime, according to our constitution,no rights are absolute and that includes the right to life.
Mara Double Standards in Mzansi,South African literally pay for a life of a prisoner, your Tax money is literally now for Thabo Besters life,so why can't everyone have equal basic rights
Fantastic interview, thank you Duma, enjoyed thoroughly

The right to life is absolute! That's why there can never be a death penalty...
@@DrKayC Let me ask you a simple question, If you can shoot someone in self-defence, will you go to jail?
These Zamas has done much more crime than just illegal mining. At least he said Sharpville and Marikana was the same.
