Excellent piece of journalism 👏. Everyone is going off against people who have literally endured and are still enduring hell on earth to earn a pittance, if even that, to feed their families. Most were targeted, promised work, and then forced to work in the worst conditions. Now my question is: Who is going after the syndicate/s or organization/s responsible for this and making millions off the back breaking labour of these ragged souls? I'll tell you, no one is, because 9 out of 10 times high-ranking government people have a cut in it, too. An operation like that will not work unless it involves the right people taking a hefty cut. Any comments?
As long as we baby seat criminals in this country we will never focus on economic growth 📈. I start to believe that senior officials are involved in these syndicates or are the actual King pins 📌
Now this is real news, Gwede Mantashe was right, they went it volunteerer, so the Human rights commission must shut up and fight for people who aren't risking their own lives.
Zimbabweans have been mining in their own country for more than 10 years through artisanal mining & Mozambique have done the same over the years. These people get recruited in their own countries & get promised bigger pay. Follow the paper trail Bro.
Worse NGO's soloko zona zikwi cala laboni bangaphandle. They never fight for South Africans. The kids were dying from soaza shops snacks ,I never heard them talking or going to court to fight for those kids and demand closer of those shops or arrest of those illegal owners
I think they should start questioning the actual mining staff.... I don't trust anyone or their lies. But why not interview the miner companies? Under the table dealings? 🤔
Ziningi izindlela zokuzama impilo not le. Lento bayenzile bazi ukuthi i wrong. Ngenkathi benza lento bebebodwa abanye bahlala iminyaka beba umcebo wase SA emgodini. Manje sebedinga abantu nama resources ase SA ukuze baphume emgodini. Ababoshwe bajeze. Kwelinye izwe angeke baningwe ukudla ngisho amanzi. U Government obusayo u soft too much. Awuqine umthetho ngoba abantu bazosuka emazweni abo bezochanasa la. Nx!
I agree, if you dont have food for your kids you will try anything. Who is the owners of the old mines, how many slaves died in these mines. Goverment is looking away, why?
Baze bajabula webantu! Abantu abaningi e SA balala bengadlile bona beze ngokungemthetho e SA bathola zonke izidingo! Kumele nathi e SA sithole izidingo. Ngikhuluma nje kuke kuphele inyanga amanzi singenawo nezinye izidingo etc. Bona bathila lula nje!
Every mine lodges a rehabilitation fund with government, so that if the mine doesn't effect proper closure the government remains the fund to do it for them. Ask where that money is, whether any closure certificates have been issued, and what role government plays in enforcing the laws around illegal mining. These criminals have been operating for over 20 years with no government intervention at all. They have encroach on legal mines deposits, and those mines are forced to employ heavily armed security to protect their assets. This is long standing government negligence
Those small country countries which cant provide for their citizens like Lesotho, Swaziland, Mozambique and Zimbabwe must be made colonies of South Africa to be under RSA control. They citizens are never at their Country they are always here in RSA😅😮
I imagine how an ending would be if a South African illegally went to another African country and illegally mined there. Will the NPO drom that country give them food... Will that Police force "help them out" of the mine they've been getting out of everyday? South Africa is a great country, truly is especially for law breakers.

Kudos to her 🙌
I like her❤
Simple and too the point
Lovely and neat report. Very revealing and brief.
Good journalism❤ I have watched over 100 videos on this situation and they all show the same thing

If ANC mafia are not arrested, it's means let's just allow this mining...
So this means all these people who are fighting to pull out the illegal miners are the king pins
Now this is real news, Gwede Mantashe was right, they went it volunteerer, so the Human rights commission must shut up and fight for people who aren't risking their own lives.
Why don't they mine in their own countries and whom are paying for the wasted water and electricity?

What's the name of this journalist? Your tongue flows smoothly lady, keep it up. So relaxed.👏👏👏👏. Bravo
Where is Gwede Mantashe why is he so quiet in the midst of all this project I wonder if he is still alive😮😮😮😮
My thoughts exactly. These are the handlers.
Those oldies are finished
What must Gwede do, this place is a Crime Scene and is under SAPS.
The mafia syndicates sitting behind this and the ANC government knew about this long ago and should be brought to the ICJ for human rights violations.
They do have mines in their countries is just the ANC decision
I think they should start questioning the actual mining staff.... I don't trust anyone or their lies. But why not interview the miner companies? Under the table dealings? 🤔

Yes there will do everything to help you as a South African this was done before and it's possible now
@@uncletee1853 Alright, where exactly was that?
The law is only working in the favor of the criminals... 😂 This makes me question how involved are the mining companies?
@christadutoit4235
Valid question, it only makes sense that they should care, but it's quite the opposite.
Politicians knows 😊
Send jungle oats and milk they're starving underground 😮
And then the Police still won't do anything.
That is nothing new
Give us something we all can understand
ANC government doesn't exist 😢
They do, filling their pockets
Corruption corruption,using poor civilians,alilamashloni,lizosutha nini
"Control" is literally the opposite of "abandoned" 😂
The underground miners is the slaves, what a shame for slavery
How selling,how are the buyers
Give the country back to whytz. They would have handled business a long time ago easy peezy.
