Hey, I’m enjoying your videos while I plan my own ICF house. Mine will be 36’x36’x3 stories. My biggest question is what are you using to move items and supplies up to the various upper levels? I would like to avoid renting a material handler over and over and was thinking of using a davit lift or the like. And are you getting yourself up to the to the top floors with ladders or temporary stairs? Hard to carry much up a ladder. Keep up the good work!
I actually move everything by hand and by myself except the glulam beams. Although on the crawlspace level I did those by hand and even set the ones in the basement by hand on ladders but realized that was getting dangerous. So ever since then I have used a crane for the glulam beams. I have some videos showing what I invented to get sheets of OSB up each level by myself. Right now I only have ladders. I need to figure out my finished floor heights before I take the time to put in the stairs.
So you carried the blocks, rebar, bracing and flooring up to each level on ladders by hand? Sounds like a whole lot of climbing up and down. I am impressed. Must be a pain to realize you left something important like a tool on the bottom level!
