Using 3 pc Safi and 2 pc alatreon I can get to 1080 dragon element with alatreon bow and all the augments and elemental acceleration. But Idk if it's a good idea to forfeit crit element

I'm a bow user and am currently working on trying to beat fatalis (therefore no fatalis equipment yet) and was wondering if you had any tips in terms of positioning and builds (although I saw in the comments you plan to upload a build video soon) since practically all of fatalis' attacks are one-shots. I especially have trouble with hitting the head and breaking it for the 3rd phase of the fight.
Since I just Soloed mine assignment(Damn yeah!), I try to give a few pointers. My build was alatreon bow & chest piece, and 4-piece Azure armor(new event armor) with dragon element charm. Rocksteady and temporal mantle. Put on hard fire res deco, Constitution, critical eye, fortitude and the new Shaver Deco(you can get it from the melder easily, bit pricey tho). Cat was running para weapon with meowcannon. I was also religious in using attack boosting items, megademondrug, demon power, might seed and the like. As for the fight itself, immediately put on temporal and tenderize the chest and head, get him on all fours(flinching by chest damage or two dragon pods) and crash him into a wall. Stay near Fatalis as much as possible as his nastier attacks are ranged, even if you need to sheathe your weapon for it(also makes it easier to superman dive). be relentless in shooting his chest or when easy to do, his head, but since his attacks are so lethal prioritize your own safety. Once you run out of Power Coating continue with Close Range Coating. spare your mantles for reapplying tenderizers. Try to stay near the spots where you can find shelter from his Sea of Flames attack. You can use shelter time to reapply your buffs. When he goes into blue flame mode everything gets really dangerous. I hope by now you managed a break on the head, it makes things 10% easier. There are two notable attacks here as far as I can remember: one is a sweeping fire breath, you need either to superman dive or get close to his buttcheek on the other side from where he starts his attack. Move along with it and you'll be fine. The other attack are three shot fire balls he slightly charges up. aside from getting hit means an instant cart, they have a large radius. Further more the third attack WILL be aimed as close to you as possible and it will come out faster than the other two. I think Fatalis is tricking you with the first two slower fireballs to catch with the third one. Evading this one requires a bit of tail hugging(Buttcheeks might be too risky). After that you get a dragonator, you might be able to sleep him, but for the sake of time and risk, I just hit him with it asap. This may take a few tries to get ingrained, learning fatalis' moves is gonna take time and many lives but I finally managed to do so with a time of 27 minutes. Sorry if anything is unclear, I am still shaking from the adrenaline.

The easiest way to deal with it is quit the quest or evade it idk never did one of it before i got hit
You can clutch claw onto his chest or head (but make sure your trajectory wouldn't cross the front of his face) to avoid it.
Evade window 3 and bow dash through it
