Just kick people who dont use blight resist 3 or 20 dragon res and using non fire or ice weapon (depends on the quest, fire start or ice start) . Focus only on his head and then arms, arms is having better elemental hitzone which means you can reach elemental dps check cap easily, but head is also fine. Dont attack wings or tails, they dont have good elemental hit zones. Even if your dps isnt impressive, you will manage to at least toppled alatreon once. But, if even one of your teamates dont use what I've mentioned above, say goodbye then.
Solo is sure easier to reach elemental dps check cap, but it will be much more challenging since alatroen have 50k hp. I recommend use blademaster over ranged weapons, I've tested both with end game gears but it seems gunners deals much more less damage, like really much more less damage, it baffled me how tiny the damage is, seems tgeres hidden damage multiplier for alatreon.
Going from the second area to the first one in the middle during that attack is a huge gain of time/damage since Alatreon is passive for the duration and you can hit the head easily, just like the multiple thunder "walls", if you manage to rush and get past the first, it's free dps
Even after all this time, the utter control of the fight is astounding. Its nothing short of insane just how much TDS can make the game play their way.

I find incredible how speerunners have their own style: when you watch yuuki's speedruns (a japanese guy), he gives the impression to be extremely tranquil, whereas peppo has a much more aggressive playstyle, even though they globally use the same way the longsword
I like this type of fight vs speedrunning. this is like watching a performance not just rocksteady and blast away. I like speedrunners too because they challenge capcom that their monster can be beatin in 2 mins or less
This monster was literally my worst nightmare when i played MH3U, seeing him being beaten with such ease makes me so happy and the combos are so satisfying

I just noticed that when you weaken Escaton Judgment, the visual effects are also toned down each time. The EJ at the end looked _significantly_ lesser than the ones I’ve faced. There was no blizzard, there were no ice spires that shot out, it was just cold for a few seconds.

Just killed him with 3 randoms in 5:54. It's LS helm breaker galore, and those randoms do have high affinity with their LS. I placed affinity booster and we easily stunned him. No need to chase or clutch clawed him.
I was confused too when he just dropped down but when he the did a fast attack and dodged the roar filling his meter I was like "WHY THO you could have tenderized it?? ow I see!"
Elemental LS is actually pretty good vs him Go full safi with a kjarr weapon Use the fire/ice charm and max the skill out and you're good to go Extremely fun too
I understand getting tired of the same gameplay. Although, if you are playing in a team, the stun is a really good occasion for elemental damage and horn break (if the damage with the stickies didn't break the horns already)

I would call myself a Monster Hunter veteran and I still do the Y+Y+B+Y combo instead of just 4xY when playing LS. But I never took the time to actually learn the new MHW(I) moves, so let's wrap up together what the heck is going on here: - 3:57 - We all know this one, it is the absolute longsword signature move that every child can perform because it is just spamming RT, the Spirit Blade. - 4:00 - Now look at this. After putting the sword away you can now directly follow up with the RT+A Special Sheathe which can be turned into the lai Slash by pressing Y. Your Spirit Gauge is going to refill from this, so you can Spirit Blade again even faster. - 4:02 - But be patient. Don't just blindly attack as it is Alatreon's turn... time to parry. Yes, you heard me right. You can take a step back and parry incoming attacks during this little time frame by pressing RT+B. You didn't know this because you didn't know shit, just like me until now. - 4:04 - Want to do this again? Sure, but offensively this time. First we need to go Special sheathe mode again using RT+A. This time press RT+B to perform the lai Spirit Slash. This would usually cost a spirit level, but as it's another dodge it doesn't and instead the potential of the still yellow spirit level strengthens the following attack. - 4:06 - Knockdown, how satisfying.
Took them quite a while to upload a kill. I mean everyone's killing it comfortably now(for the most part). I'm starting to lose my wow factor when it comes to TDS. The coordination is great but they are being overmatched when it comes to being the first to kill and more efficient killtimes. Heavy bowgun did it in 2 mins.
@@TheMonk52 the heavy bg kill is specifically designed to kill Alatreon before he can do his judgement because otherwise it would be almost impossible to survive it, the other weapons require totally different builds from the usual meta to put him down and that threw most people through a loop when it came to killing him the first time
If youre using the right elemental weapons he's literally the easiest endgame monster. His attacks are so predictable and he really doesn't have that much health. Escaton isn't that tough to pass either.
@@zain6008 “Easiest endgame monster” no way in hell, are we forgetting Raging Brachy, and Safi exist? Ala is probably the second hardest monster to fight in the endgame, with Fatty being the hardest. Ala only becomes easy once you learn his moves and how to properly beat him up (as seen in the video) over the course of at least 10-15 runs. Even then making a good counter build to him is difficult enough, all of them are a pain in the ass to make.
@@sphearix7232 not really. All that matters is your build. I still can't consistently kill raging brachy without taking a ton of hits while I can with ala. His attacks are extremely slow by far the slowest of any of the endgame monsters. Safi is meh? I mean its mostly just seeing how much DPS you can do youre not in that much danger of dying true but you do have little time. I solo ala with a dragon longsword and I still cant solo furious rajang without wasting a ton of max potions and dying once or twice. all his breath attacks are slow except the water one, when he's in the Air and unenraged just go for a flash pod, when he does that attack where he breathes downwards thats a perfect chance to clutch claw onto his head, lightning just stay under him, lightning that tracks u just roll the direction perpendicular, all of his attacks are really easy to dodge and even if you get hit youre good cause his attacks are so long you can heal while he's in the animation of the previous one. The only really annoying thing is his slam move cause it leaves u perfectly open for lightning which is almost always death. Escaton is annoying if you aren't playing aggressive and just running around using meds but if you are its extremely easy to get at least 1 topple.

I like to think that I’m a great hunter, I’ve done everything in the game including soloing the Extreme Behemoth, Ancient Leshen, and Alatreon then I see you guys and realize how much better I can be. Amazing work as always.

Depending on the build, sometimes the skills on the armor would save more deco slots for other options. If playing 3 piece Safi then I would totally use the Alpha helm for the x3 Resentment! Experiment and build to your heart's content.
@@r3doctave657 What i do is mix the own two sets of a Monster, i grab the beta parts that dont have to much difference in skills with the alpha (like only losing one or two points of a skill) so that way i have good skills while also having enough room for decorations, with Alatreon, i accidentaly instead of combining, made FULLY the both sets XD
I was dumb and made a full beta set, because holy hell as an IG user some of the skills are great....then realized I was a dumbass who forgot the most important thing, power prolonger 3, was on the alpha gloves. So needless to say, it was back to grinding.
I'd like to know what everyone else does that makes Alatreon sit so still and patient when they do all this stuff because when I fight him, *he's bouncing around the arena like Super Ball made of murder and spamming attacks that hit half the arena every five seconds.* I am literally unable to see Fatalis in real life because Alatreon can triple-cart me twice in the time it takes Team Darkside to kill him once.

I like to think that I’m a great hunter, I’ve done everything in the game including soloing the Extreme Behemoth, Ancient Leshen, and Alatreon then I see you guys and realize how much better I can be. Amazing work as always.

Literally me, for some odd reason, i made both the alpha and beta set XD
Depending on the build, sometimes the skills on the armor would save more deco slots for other options. If playing 3 piece Safi then I would totally use the Alpha helm for the x3 Resentment! Experiment and build to your heart's content.
@@r3doctave657 What i do is mix the own two sets of a Monster, i grab the beta parts that dont have to much difference in skills with the alpha (like only losing one or two points of a skill) so that way i have good skills while also having enough room for decorations, with Alatreon, i accidentaly instead of combining, made FULLY the both sets XD
I did. because I have so much alatreon parts laying on the ground :P
I even crafted weapons I will not use :P

I was dumb and made a full beta set, because holy hell as an IG user some of the skills are great....then realized I was a dumbass who forgot the most important thing, power prolonger 3, was on the alpha gloves. So needless to say, it was back to grinding.

I'd like to know what everyone else does that makes Alatreon sit so still and patient when they do all this stuff because when I fight him, *he's bouncing around the arena like Super Ball made of murder and spamming attacks that hit half the arena every five seconds.* I am literally unable to see Fatalis in real life because Alatreon can triple-cart me twice in the time it takes Team Darkside to kill him once.
Here i am a new player, watching the fight hoping to slay him someday.😅
