I don't get why so many people hate this level. I think it's easily the best in the game, and in MarioKart as a whole. You just have to practice and then you never fall off.
I've never heard someone hate this track though? In fact it's often overrated over 3DS Rainbow Road due to more people playing Wii, I don't think I've seen a complaint other than the tour version

There's only one curve that's really hard, the second one from the 2 consecutive holes, that is hard to do without drifting. The DS one, on the other hand...
I actually find the map very easy...

It’s unlikely since there are already 3 Rainbow Road tracks in MK8 but I really, really, really hope this track comes back in the DLC. It’s my favorite MK Wii track and one of my favorite tracks in the entire MK series. I would love to see it again in all its HD glory in MK8.

I know for a FACT that this is returning in one of the booster cups in MK8. Probably this, the Gamecube verison, DS version, and 3DS version.
Edit: So considering 3DS Rainbow Road is the final track for the first half of the Booster Pass, Wii Rainbow Road will probably be the final track for the second half. 2nd edit: Now Wii Rainbow Road is coming to Tour, so it'll most likely show up in the Booster Pass now. The GameCube and DS Rainbow Roads won't appear.

because almost everyone used them in the wrong way? You're supposed to use them as a way to distance yourself from the one behind you when they're really close (dropping it point blank) or in a line of true cubes, so it's at least harder to distinguish the false one from the true ones (leave it just past the line of cubes, or directly into one of them)
I wish they would make them with monochome colors instead of just red, that way it wiuld be easier to fall for them. Like a monochomic (I now that is probably bad english) version of the regular item box.

Sirawith You don’t need a mushroom if you only jump across a little bit of it and you trick! Also you may be able to mini-turbo beforehand to get extra speed and trick and clear the entire thing, but I haven’t tried that yet so I’m not entirely sure if you can.

The music is so good oh ma gosh I remember these days lucky I have this game most people do
I had this track down so well by the end. Even after years of not playing, I fired it up not long ago and it was all muscle memory as long as I picked the right bike. People don't let me choose Rainbow Road anymore because they find it too unfair. :D They'll give me a handicap by not letting me use my preferred controller.
By the way, the lack of tricks and powerslides in this video hurts my soul.
