I JOINED THE CHANNEL, WHERE THE GIRLS AT?
What do you mean? I'm not enough? 🤣
Nice! I believe in Your! Thanks for the video! 🤘🏼
Thanks! 😊✌️
Hyviä videoita oot tehnyt ja kiva kun teet englanniksi, sun puhetta on helppo ymmärtää!
Mukava kuulla. Välillä se tuskastuttaa vieraalla kielellä vetää, mutta hyvä jos se on menny jokseenki purkkii :)
Thank you for being transparent sir. 🎉
Thank you for watching my transparency 🙏😄
These vid's are great. I truly enjoy them. Thanks man!
Glad you like them! 🙏
Don't let the algorythm get you down. TH-cam (for most TH-camrs) is about making the community happier (and TH-cam/Google richer). I am when watching your vids! Thanks for your channel, many smiles, Günter/Nürnberg
Well said! Most important thing is to have fun with it 😊
@@PatchedBandit I'm off to some (scooter) fun in the Black Forest and the Alsace. Are you off to Lappland?
@@enduromotorradtouren Not yet but I have some trips roughly planned :)
Have fun! ✌️
Good video on earnings expectation for a small channel. the work that goes in to a video I don't think a lot of people understand. In one video I edited about 15 hours of footage into a 45 minute video, just cherry picking the best bits, that took me a whole weekend to do. I might start another channel just for fun and see how that goes. My gaming channel is all but dead, too many people doing that now and they are better than me at it LOL, plus real life got in the way of constant content. Liked and subbed.
Thank you for the like and sub! You are absolutely right. Until I did this myself I could not comprehend the amount of work included to make a video.
I raise my hat to anyone doing this for fun or for work. Very hard work indeed.
Yup, it should be a labour of love; a good hobby. There are people uniquely suited to TH-cam and they earn a lot. Most of us though are earning meager amounts. I earn enough to pay for the internet connection and camera equipment, etc. As you say, just make videos that enthuse you and make you happy in the process. There will always be an audience, a community of likeminded individuals. Sorry to hear about your brain tumor. My wife has a brain tumor that almost killed her a couple years ago. It caused severe hydrocephalus which pretty much completely disabled her mentally and physically. Fortunately once the diagnosis was made the surgery reversed all the symptoms, even though she still has the tumor. She is now healthy and normal both mentally and physically. I hope your journey is as successful as hers has been. Keep faith in yourself and do whatever it takes to improve.
Awesome that your wife is on recovery! During the first 50 or so videos I made to this channel I was sure my days were numbered but as for now it seems like I'm staying at least for the time being. I was left with an almost constant headache which is the worst of it now.. livable but definitely mentally tough.
I wish you and your wife all the happiness and healthy times together ❤️
Thanks for making this video. I loved how clear, down to earth, and no nonsense it was. This was interesting also for someone who hasn't even considered to become a "youtuber". The amount of revenue vs the effort gone into making that many videos is kinda shocking.
Glad you enjoyed it! Good that the representation was useful and clearly put. Making money on youtube is certainly possible but not with a channel of this size or even a channel 10x the size of mine.
Considering the money that is going in to make all these videos it is not even paying for my gas bill 😁
Point of the video was certainly not to complain but because I have been asked about this so many times I thought why not make a video. Interesting also to do this yearly to see how things are developing if I decide to continue doing these videos for years to come.
Interacting with likeminded riders is the best outcome of this hobby of mine though. Everyone is also welcome to join my Discord to have a chat with me and others: linktr.ee/patchedbandit
Interesting, thanks for the transparency! Hope you will have more subs soon! Keep up the good spriti! Cheers from Hungary!
Thanks, will do! I have many fun videos planned. I'm not doing this for the money so I'm winning already 😄 Comment and 👍 is the best support from the viewers 🙏
And that's how you're getting rich!
Wallet is starting to feel a bit light 😅
@@PatchedBandit
Keep up the good work 👍🏻
Thanks, will try! 😊
What would be a "gamechanger" for a small channel like yours? Rather something extreme that no one has ever done or the old and established travel destinations that somehow still get people excited?
Absolutely. Doing something new is important IF the goal is just to grow the biggest possile audience.
Few buts though.
1. I'm not particulary interested in growing a travel channel like itchyboots for example. I just don't want to travel all the time.
2. I tend to do things on camera that I would do anyway with or without youtube. So not for the views but for the love of this hobby or some trail that I want to test/ride.
I think a sustainable (yet slow) way of growing a channel is to do things out of love. Even though those things might not be interesting to a wide audience.
@PatchedBandit Thats a healty approach for sure, keep doing what you like is the best recipe on the long run✌🏼
@@nomadhabit Thanks! I think so.. at least have fun while failing 😂
Good summary ☕ thanks for sharing.
Thanks for commenting 🫡
Thanks for information, it is usefull. Very.
Glad it was helpful! 🙂
You have a great channel and make great videos so from my point of view, just keep up the good work! Cheers! /AE
Will try my best!😊 Thanks for commenting 🙏
You and Jake the Garden Snake are my favourite CRF300l channels.
Wow that's a big complement! Thank you 🙏🙂
@@PatchedBandit I have been eyeballing the CRF 250/300 for years, never dared to buy one, since I always thought I need at least 70 hp on a bike to have fun. This year I finally pulled the trigger on a 300l after selling my SV 650 and I have to say, I havent had that much fun on a bike for a while. I can now go pretty much everywhere on my bike. It is super useful in a traffic jam too. Sure I miss the power sometimes, but I guess I will have to buy a second motorcycle just for the street then, after I saved some cash. Something like a Triumph Street Triple 765 or Aprilia RS 660 probably. If you ever come around to the Isle of Usedom, let me know. And we could go on a ride together.
@@DashRendar308 Nice to hear you enjoying the little Honda. I'm in the same kind of pickle as the Tenere I have serves me well in some light offroad and road riding so I'm keeping both bikes.
Tenere has plenty of power to the streets for me and I tend to stick to gravel/offroad with that bike too.
I've been close a couple of times this past year but likely not gonna make it back there this summer.
I will try and remember this comment the next trip I make 🙂
Great video
Thanks!
Kiitokset videoistasi, tykkään! 👍
Kiitos kommentista :) Mukava kuulla!
Is it worth it ? Working so hard and earning so little ? I guess it is a good hobby ….
Doing it just for the money it's definitely not worth it. Motivation for being a creator should in my opinion be something else completely.
I enjoy having an outlet and the creative process itself. It's fun.. in short :)
Hey, for now it pays for some gas… just take care and don’t do anything risky for short-lived fake attention.
Very true. I only do things that give me joy 😄
