Part 2 was necessary as I was not staying at the optimal power band of the stock CRF300L in the first episodes. What was the weight difference between the OEM light and this?
+1.7kg
Greetings, As always another brilliant detailed video production 🇺🇲🍾🎉🇺🇲 Keep producing more videos about the CRF
If the rally actually had rally tanks instead of the fake tanks it has (that's what the brittle side plastics are), it would be worth it.
btw riding on those ice roads looks super fun
Are those the stock tires on the crf in the front?
Still stock in this video
Not sure if helps but I find it only flames out when using E10 fuel, switch to E5 and no problem.
Ive had it with both on the stock bike. I run all my bikes with 98E5
Great video. Just ordered the velocity stack. Do you see any reason why you couldn’t cut the snorkel in place without removing it, or the airbox, and shoving the new velocity stack in from inside the airbox or do you think too much force is required to get the stack in?
Now that I know it works maybe it would be possible. Hard to cut in place though 🤔
Can’t buy this knife anymore
Why?
Kyllä 690 on aika ripeä. Rouvan pyörää joskus päässy kokeilemaan.
The T7 is and will be the best because it was created by Yamaha. If they had to, they would stuff it with extras, make it 120 horsepower, put tubeless tires on it, put the tank under the seat. Do it for dwarfs with weak hands. They can't build a junk engine, that's why everyone stole it. And the Italians are capable of a lot, but not quality. They make beautiful inflated junk.
Im gonna see about that and post updates on the Aprilia experience during the summer
It’s a good knife but for camping it’s nowhere near as good as a mora basic and they cost like £15
They are good. I liked this for the seath and the look 😄
the glock knife looks way more badass tbf
Good luck with the endless debate once you get into a traffic inspection by the police, especially in the video’s suggested ‘open carry’ attached to a pannier. In certain countries it’s up to the total discretion of the involved police officer to classify it as a ‘forbidden weapon’ or ‘threatening means of carry’. So yeah, a cool knife but first make sure you don’t get into legal issues.
But… I’m a Bandit 🤓
What
Do you recall the shutter speeds for each, pls?
Camera is in auto mode so shutter speed is variable.
@@PatchedBandit The minimum shutter speed will be good to note. I realise it's not easy to get the info after the recording. Thank you.
In auto mode it is not possible to determine it when recording or after the recording. 99% of users use auto shutter on actioncams. Going lower on the shutter speed also means the stabilization will not work as intended.
Soomalaine. Sen kuulee AINA
Valitettavasti 🥴
Thank you. This is a good comparison. You are right-there's too much paid hype about OA4. The motion blur (10:55) is not great. Can you confirm your shutter for these comparisons, any chance please?
Cameras in auto mode so shutter speed varies scene by scene automatically inside the camera I think. So not locked.
@@PatchedBandit Thanks. I'm trying to determinate minimum speed (e.g, 100-8000). All good.
At slower speeds the stabilization is negatively affected.
Very nice ❤
I’ll take my ka-bar
Honestly mate ka-bar's are horrendous knives and bound to fail due to their god awful design with their weedly little rattail tang
@@markopolo1271 dude I’ll put my full tang up against anything you have , the style of knife I have from them is the same one a dude took a grizzly bear down with homie we’ve stress tested my knife against a lot and they all fall short there is a reason the marines rock this knife bud
If noise in the image of the action 3 bothers anyone you could always run it through a denoise routine in post correct?
You got surprised because he is just so darnn slow on trails. 😂 No, just kidding. I'm the slow guy. BTW, would a video of torturing a '90 DR650RS with same set work? A real fossile challenges new millenium bikes... 😀
Hey, I have the same Airoh helmet, where did you get camera chin mount for it?

YES! 😂

True! He knows his bike after many many years of ownership 😁
Need to make bike lighter... It looks like it is not possible to lose any more weight from my athletic body 😂
Ha! 😂 Tried not to laugh too hard.. 🫢
I have the Rapid Bike EVO on my 2022 Husqvarna Norden 901 after using the Power Commander on it before , and on multiple prior bikes , this is a better option but i did not know there were different "tunes" or am i misunderstanding ??
I just know what @advseeker told me 😅
In older KTM bikes you can tune bike with TuneEcu application. Fuel and throttle maps can be edited 👌
@@advseeker not with mine though ? bike runs great how it is ! , i only went to this after using the power commander long story short it works better without losing electronic functions or throwing check engine light , rotty intake cat & cannister deleted Arrow exhaust & this compensates well just if it has some tunability id sure be interested in that ?
@@advseeker thank you for your response and what info you can give i really appreciate it
@@justsomedude445 Yep not with 2014 or newer and Husqvarna has always be with closed ecu. There is rumors that lately some places has been able to open ecu and run own maps 2021 models, but those tools are only for some tuning workshops. th-cam.com/video/ExqRIo25O0o/w-d-xo.htmlsi=9_zDms5J4j9SvYw3&t=570 shows quickly how to use tuneecu with older bikes.
Finnally, a good bike 😂
😒😒 youtube deleted my first response 😂💀
Worst engine ever 😊
That’s a sexy knife!
Agreed!😎
Yamaha has once again opened a new page in the bike industry. They created a new class of bikes, with a new long-developed engine. The rest just stole from Yamaha again, and now everyone is racing to spit T7. It's hard to be a pioneer. After the pioneers, it's easy to follow, and Yamaha is always a pioneer.
Competition is great for consumers.
@@PatchedBandit If stealing is called competition...!?! Only KTM has the valor not to copy CP2 one to one. The rest play with the cubic capacity.
Aprilia engine is not in any way a copy of the CP2. And similarities between the bikes end in weight and category. Aprilia created Tuareg to directly compete with the T7 yes. But in all other aspects it is an aprilia entry to this segment of bike. Even though similar there are nothing same about these bikes.
Try Motoz tyres, great grip and longevity…either standard Tractionator Adventure or the more hard enduro versions that are still road legal.
you dont need all that just 550 91 oct ecu flash, dna air filter and full yoshi runs perfect
How match ??
Check Description
I'm wondering about the timelapse capabilities Has anyone here tried both and is the 4 that much better than the 3?
OA4. Has the new hyperlapse mode.
@@PatchedBandit oh cool. i appreciate the reply!
I've bought a FulBat brand lithium battery as it was in the only available in nearby parts store and it was a mistake. BMS electronics integrated in that battery interferes with voltage regulator in my CRF. It causes voltage peaks and both ECU and ABS errors. I've returned it immediately, but the store won't just take it back and return money. They've forwarded it to manufacturer to deal with warranty.
I’ve had a BS battery on my Tenere 700 for 2 years and now for a while in the CRF300 and my Tuareg 660 comes with a BS lithium from factory. Have had no issues with any of these so far. Standards between manufacturers differ quite a bit most likely.
I've installed RR L1 two weeks ago and found it quite easy. Half of the work is just new seals install. I didn't drill the tube, spring circlip is easy to remove by a pick or thin screw driver, no even need to disassemble the fork for that. The airing was easy too. Just follow the instructions and fill the cartridge from bottom. That way it's 90% aired before you even begin. Then bolt it tight and turn around. You can see oil level from the top, so just add more until the level is merely 10cm or at least visible and keep airing until damping works all the way up and no more bubbles can be heard. Check and fill the oil level. Done. What wave to do again and different, was new seal lubing. Lubing it with fork oil and wipe the rest resulted in significant stiction. I had to take it apart and lube both seals and dust covers with bearing grease. The result is much better but still not great. It seems like these dual compound seals has high stiction, unlike OEM hard NBR. Maybe it reduces over time with wear.
In your last video about installing a new ECU, you showed the result from the dyno. Factory 23 horsepower vs. 27 horsepower after tuning. I understand that you can feel the difference, but I am surprised because I bought my CRF300L at the beginning of May in Polish distribution and the manufacturer states 27.3 horsepower as the factory data. Was your CRF throttled by the manufacturer or was this just the result? Or maybe in your case it's the result "on the wheel" and in the manufacturer's case it's on the crankshaft?
Yes the dyno is wheel HP so that's the reason. The dyno chart is from 550 Performance so that is not my test chart but theirs. They have charts for all the different levels of tune for this bike. This acceleration test is pretty telling too though 😊
Your white crash bars compliment the Touareg colours. Hope you won't need them. Happy rides, Günter/Nürnberg
Light tipovers are fine 😊 But I hope nothing big too 😅 Thanks for watching
@@PatchedBandit I tried to ride on sand near Berlin (we have mostly gravel or mud). Expected a lot of tipovers, but escaped a lot of times. Sheer luck, thanks to my light CRF 300 L (your recommendation, very good). One hour on a R 1200 GS reminded me why I definitely wanted a light bike, it was hard work on sand. But I don't gel with the telelever, anyway ;-) Cheers, Günter
hey how do you waterproof the connector-plug ?
I used self vulcanising tape
