I guess Mariano check raised for thin value and never expected a re raise But when you look closely at the hand, red head guy line doesnt rly makes sense, i think Mariano should most likely find a call on that allin, he knowz better than that

The raise is fine bro, but he has to call that reraise Every day You cant give crédits to Taras that bluff is so weak, there's so many bluff hands possible and so few value hands Mariano has to call this everyday
Raise on the river just to fold to a re-raise. This a terrible play no matter your play style. If you want to gamble then call. If you want to play tight then don't raise the river. Smh
To be fair…. I think trip 7s would have done what Taras did…. And if you put someone on tip 7s, the hole combo lends to a full house more often than not…. Which means you’re essentially calling a bluff-looking all-in with one pair…. It’s a ballsy bluff by Taras, given Mariano was out of position and therefore could have had the full house / trios hands, but the river check may be what gave it away…. Just my opinion.
Bro Taras squeezed PF, he could do that with A7s but thats it To me, its A7s, 55, 88 or AA that would play like that, and probably 55 just calls before flop There's many more bluffs possible on that hand, Mariano normally calls this everyday idk why he let that one go.mustve been tired
@@Ow920 If I was to put Taras on non-bluff, it would be 78, 67, _maybe_ 57…. A7 maybe but what suited A7 is available when Mariano has A❤️ and the 7♠️ came on the turn… suited 67 makes more sense since it blocks straight whilst having a 7 as well…. If I put him on a bluff…. It would be missed flush draws and missed straight draws…. And in missed straight draws there’s the danger of 7x combo being out there… [I’m not a pro, but this is my take…. What do you think?] (Btw, the non-bluffs also include the pockets that hit the flop)
I feel like when you raise here, you are literally trying to get a specific player type to punt off their money. If that's not the thought process here, just call and collect your money.
@@Ow920 it's clear that raise was thin to say the least. The point is he needs to have an idea of what hes gonna do if he gets raised especially against a guy like Taras who will punt. And KQ is not even a hand that Taras is gonna have there. Value wise there are really only 3 hands Taras is gonna have that he beats, QQ, JJ, 1010. That's literally all you are getting value from, KQ makes no sense. Bottom line, if you wanna be fancy and raise that river, you should be calling a rejam.
I think Mariano is a very good poker player. But, this was an exceptionally bad river fold. He played the hand perfectly; and, folded after spiking top-top on the river against an all in from loose opponent?
damn the mariano disrespectful vid title is crazy
Who cares?
That look back by Taras is what sold this bluff
What look back?
Are you talking about looking back at his cards? Or what?
Could you include a time stamp please? Thanks.

@shemmy95 thank you for knowing the assignment 😂

For me, it's just a snap against Taras. lol
What's the point with the raise with Top Top on the river?
I SUCK AT POKER
but the river raise / fold makes 0 sense
someone please explain especially against TARAS
I guess Mariano check raised for thin value and never expected a re raise

That will never get old! :)

That’s one of the worst river raises I’ve ever seen in poker history.
He played it very good , should of just called the river
No
The raise is fine bro, but he has to call that reraise Every day
You cant give crédits to Taras that bluff is so weak, there's so many bluff hands possible and so few value hands Mariano has to call this everyday
Its an easy raise fold.
Super underbluffed spot.
Also against a perfect villain as Mariano is a sound, thinking, GTO oriented player.
Disciplined fold by Mariano....shouldn't consider retirement. There were trips and straight combinations out there (or boats)
TARAS IS NEW LEGEND!
Gott love comic book guy!
worst raise with the showdown value I've ever seen in my life
One simple rule. Just call and don’t raise on the river if you can’t call a reraise. Greed got him
Raise on the river just to fold to a re-raise.
This a terrible play no matter your play style. If you want to gamble then call. If you want to play tight then don't raise the river. Smh
I agreed with you 100%
YOU ARE 100% CORRECT... CALL THE RIVER BET AND TAKE THE POT SMH
Fr also Taras's play of an all in jam makes no sense in that spot id be snapping that off if I had the hand of Mariano. Love him but ... cmon
wouldnt ever put opponent on 46 or 69 there. plus youre holding a king Id only tank to think about Aces or a boat of 8's full
lmk if you agree.
When Mariano check raised the river with top top on a paired board.....what hand did he think would call him? What a total fk up on this hand.

Just me or does it look like Trick has gained 60-70 lbs over the last year? He needs to get a trainer or a nutritionist, if he wants a long career.
He hit the powerball and then he hit the buffets !
Dude built like a cafeteria lunch lady
@@xavierharding8938he really hit the powerball? I thought it was workin them tricks
I've seen it so often, a player will underrep their hand and induce a bluff and then fold.
I feel like when you raise here, you are literally trying to get a specific player type to punt off their money. If that's not the thought process here, just call and collect your money.
He went for the thin raise thinking maybe Taras had KQ or smtg like that

good fold. can not go all in with a pair.
