@@joewonchfishing835 not sure I haven’t tried again. I also wasn’t expecting that I was going to catch so many walleye. Was really trying for bass lol. I would assume they are still down there because when salmon come in, at night I could see walleye close to shore at night eyes glowing.
@@mark.r8900 it is paid parking all along the Niagara river. You can buy day pass or if you are a local in Ontario you can buy a year pass which is not much more then a day pass.
@@jordangryg5442 It is down the river from the whirlpool. The whirlpool has the wooden steps and this place is just past the golf course the is a park that leads to the steel steps. yes the trails lead to the whirl pool as well.

I was using 2-3 spss4 removable split shot sinkers. a foot - a foot and a half up from the hook.

@@mark.r8900 Thanks. Where I was fishing not many people fish because it is a hike down. Yes you are allowed to fish the river at your own risk.

Not sure. Haven’t been since then. I’ve been meaning to go down to try again though.

Was just using 6 pound mono line with 2- 3 slpitshot sinkers and a hook with half a worm
