how come no one making videos on rootstocks ever explains how one gets rootstock to begin with? do you just plant seeds or what? and how do we know that the rootstock growing from the seed is going to have those desirable traits that we seek?
Madam, I wish to give you my sincere compliments. Even though i still have a world of doubts, your video was the first in a few hundreds that really set me on my way to understand the basics of the basics in this wonderful and beautifull activity. I Just would like to make you a few more questions. 1- For different kinds of fruit trees, how can i choose the right compatible rootstocks? Is there any kind of table or information about this? Are these rootstocks also roots from fruit trees or they can be from a bush or another kind of plant? The other most important issue for me is. 2-Are these rootstocks all compatible to grow in containers or do I have to really choose a special kind of rootstock for containers? 3- I saw in some videos that it would be best to use standard trees instead of dwarf species even if i want to keep them very small. This i could achieve with extreme pruning tchniques. Is taht true? 4- Will it be possible to have a standar fruit tree in a container keeping it small with extreme pruning? Thank you very much in advance for your time and i am looking forward for your reply.
Extremely thankful. Wonderfully explained and presented. Liked, Subscribed, and Shared. Thank you so much. Looking forward to seeing more. God bless you in the Lord Jesus's name
