The main reason to weapon swap on any class and spec is because you put your skills on cooldown, then you swap and put those skills on cooldown as well, thus gaining dps. Thief weapon skills have no cooldown. You camp the weapon with the highest dps.

I was wondering the same, I guess it was played 2 months ago so maybe it wasn't a thing yet or something like that.
@@omegasrevenge yes but these days the meta is running a sigil that gives you slight dps increase if you weapon swap :) that's why he's asking
