This was probably one of the best beginner videos to watch for people getting into pokemon. you're very knowledgable thanks for sharing!
Glad it was helpful!
Oh my word, i just started collecting Pokemon cards again for the first time in like 12-15 years and I feel like this video was made for me.
Thank you! ❤
Glad you enjoyed!
Same here! Lol 😅
Man this is a good channel! The lack of subs actually surprises me man! Iv given you a sub hope you get millions more soon you definitely have the potential. Also a very informative video that definitely helped me out a lot!!
I appreciate that! Thanks so much!
Dude! Great video. I just got back into collecting after like 15 years. This was a great overview of all that I missed. The cadence and way you talk is so much less annoying that other channels that seem to be a bit over the top. You got my sub!
Thanks so much ! Appreciate the sub and I’m glad you enjoyed the video !
I love how I’m not a beginner, but I still didn’t know what they meant until now
love the enthusiasm! certainly a quality many ytbers lack
Thank you so much !
Thank you for making this video it really help me and my daughter to understand how the cards work.

Very helpful! Thanks! My six and four year old sons have pulled me back in to the world. I never actually played the card game as a kid, now that seems to be all we do. ha. We're having fun with it!
Hope you have fun with it !! I’m glad this brought some light to the cards !
I’m on the same bus now haha my five year old is totally into trading so I am learning all about it just in case he pulls a really good card that he should keep 😂

Oh for sure more coming soon !
This was very helpful for a old collecting I haven’t collected since 2008 probably I have one those ultra rare rainbow pinsir from twm
Yo this was amazing thank you so much really helped out
Of course !
What do the numbers(3 or 4) below the picture of any of the Pokémon mean and how are they categorized and if there is a categorization for them? The area I'm mentioning also has the type of Pokémon and height and weight of mentioned Pokémon. I've not collected before and am curious about this area. Am interested in collecting sometime.
Bro is a great man , he look strong and serious when he explain but he is a nice guy and cut ( the glue pack ) cause this even if this is my first video i watched from him but i'll sub and but this video in my " pokemon playlist "❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much for this! I lost all my original cards when I moved houses as a kid and I’m now in my 30’s wanting to relive my childhood but it is a completely different world out there with so many different cards and colors and sets it’s all so overwhelming! Would you also be able to explain what the differences between sets are, such as voltage, battle styles, lost origin, etc? What do they mean or represent? And why are there so many? Lol
Thanks again!
Might do a video on this ! Great idea !
This is just the video I need too pls make one!
Dang, I’ve been out the game since Gen 1. SO MUCH HAS CHANGED. Thanks for this
Thanks for checking it out ! Much appreciated !
Thank you for the video is it just me or was the letters on the octagon not discussed? These are the one thing I needed to know about and didn’t catch what you said about them? Please advise and thank you
Thanks so much for making this video I am a 14year old with a lot of questions on this. So thanks for explaining it to me!
Happy you enjoyed Evan!

I finally found a video to tell my about the symbols
This video was actually really helpful for me that I haven’t kept up with TCG since my childhood
Thanks for tuning in !!

What is the double star?
What does it mean when you have 2 shiny stars im new to this
Thank you!
Getting back into Pokemon myself. Got yourself a sub and an IG follower 👍🏻
Appreciate that Blake !
Energy cards are my favorite 😉 lol
I’d say secret rares are undeniably the coolest
Yeah they are! The price points reflect that too LOL
Thanks for the information bud. I love Secret Rare cards bcoz they have super sic artwork.
That they do!
Facts
What does a crown sign mean?
this is a really good video but I was also hoping to know what the letter meant in the lower left corner.
I had a pack where the glue stuck the package to the outer packaging too. I thought that was strange.
It happens haha
Yo bro thanks for the help man and bro thanks to you I found a secret rare card
No problem 👍
What is a white star
I have a M Latios EX shiny full art what is that worth or around it's worth it's in Japanese letters my friend gave it too me I'm curious
JPN cards typically have lesser value but always check eBay for recent sold listings! Good luck!
Thanks for the info great video
Not a prob Zach! Thanks for tuning in! Will be posting new videos soon 😎😎👍🏻
Hey because of you I just found out I had a 50 dollar Pokémon card
Hi, can anyone tell me what the "x" means on the Noctowl card, next to the 20?? Apprecaite the response
Don’t think I’ve seen that one before! A great website to check cards is TCGplayer!
Hi. What is the D for in between the set symbol and the card number.bthanks
Hi! So I wanted to help you out by answering your question because I didn't see anyone else respond, so here's the answer:
So the D stands for something less cooler than the other symbols, and it just means that it is allowed legally in a pokemon tournament whereas the letter 'F' on a pokemon cards just plainly says that it is not allowed legally in a pokemon tournament. Hope this helps!!
But aren’t there A,B,C,D,E,F and G also on cards starting with sun and moon?
what are the f e and d on the white box on the bottom
Those are called regulation marks ! You will see different ones for different set types.
Hi. Why do the packs have different titles like they are both sword and shield but also called vivid voltage and battle styles. Thanks
Great question! Those are called sets. Typically there is a new set every 3-4 months :) hope this helps!
@@adrianjoco3112 great answer, thanks
Can can you tell what the x00 mean
What does four stars mean
Unlike basketball the serial numeral number can't be pulled again in Pokémon the same card and the same serial number can be pulled...explain
Yes that number means the number that the card is in the set.
For example, a set that has 100 cards you will see the 31st card as 31/100. Hope this helps!
What if there is no shape at all (no circle, no star, ect.) following the numbers that represent that cards placement is its series? I have a holographic Pikachu that is packaged by itself, that someone gave me a few years ago. It says 5/12 but there is no shape?
That might be a promo card ! Not sure which one you’re talking about specifically but check if it has a black star with the word promo inside!
@@adrianjoco3112 There's no Star with Promo like the ones in the video. It has a weird shape out in front of the placement numbers of 5/12. It looks like the outline of two diamonds hooked together, like diamonds on a playing card, it kinda resembles how two people arm in arm would look, they way the diamonds are overlapping barley on that one corner, if that makes any sense. The diamonds aren't filled in a solid color, it's just a black outline of both diamonds. I'm not sure if I made any sense whatsoever but if you do know what that means let me know please. It also has the date of 2016 on it along with Illus. kirisAki Thanks.
@@yourtakingmylife3472 its a mcdonalds card, i have one from 2015 and its 2/12 and i got it in mcdonalds in 2015
Did you make a how to battle vid?
Idk how to battle
I have not! I’m solely a collector and enjoy the cards for their artwork. I’m not sure how to play the game but a great start would be to see frosted caribous videos!
I have white star Rambo carts 4
At the end of the 67/119 mine has a white star
How much money do you make by selling shiny star cards
I don’t sell shiny star cards :) I keep them for my collection mostly
You're awesome
YOURE awesome!
What does the hand symbol mean does it mean it fake? Pls help
I would have to see it to be able to tell! Hand symbol I’m not too sure but sounds like the fossil set!
Hate to be that one person but it didn’t help sadly☹️🙁
some cards have an "E" on the bottom, and some have a "D" on the bottom, what do those mean
Will be posting a follow up video soon!
I don’t even know Wat all of the Pokémon cards mean 😭 I’m new
Help what does to D,E and F mean that is at the bottom of the cards
Those are called regulation marks! They will differ per set
What does the sliver star and like a rainbow circle with the letter A mean?
I am really wanna know
On some of my cards are the symbols on the right. What does that mean??
Not sure if the symbol but you can definitely check TCGPlayer for English cards! It may be there :)
@@adrianjoco3112 thank you!
Keep doing
Hi. What are the card numbers under the picture for
If you have a card thay says 007/172 172 means the number of cards thay are in the set but if you have a card thay says 181/172 it means it's a secret rare
Sorry if you dont understand
@@MINI_Snowy hi yes I understand that number but the card also has another number next to the pokemons stats
@@johnbolt806 that’s the damage that the Pokemon or card does during the TCG :)
@@adrianjoco3112 hi. I found it hard to explain what I meant :). On the card just under the picture it has stats. Take Bulbasaur from Pokémon. It says No001 seed Pokémon ht2’0”. Some cards have the number then it’s level. I was just wondering what that number was for. Thanks
Support bro
I have some with a colour A what's this mean
That’s probably a shiny vault Pokemon! Some have the A in like a yellow circle. More than likely that’s a card from Hidden Fates
It's a mulit colour with A in it
There and sky's and sword and shield as IV got back into the card ring
Card zamazenta
@@wadepeterson9170 oh yes that’s an Amazing Rare from vivid voltage!
Dude needs to learn shapes again lol
Thanks for the suggestion boss! Hope you have a wonderful day!
