    Eye watering price like getting kicked in the nuts over and over. Just for the fun of it.
    At over A$25,500.00 for the top model, I'd expect around 400km range and 1hr charge time.
    Manufacturers need to start having a good hard look at the product they are putting on the market. While there are wealthy wankers that lay their money down. The bulk of potential customers will reach for their barge poles and push away. The prices of even the "budget price range" eMTBs are getting out of hand.

      Yeah, I often talk to the bike distributors about pricing. Something needs to be done so "regular" people can actually afford an emtb with useable components. Orbea is heading in a good direction with say the 2023 Rise H20. But it should be possible making well functioning bikes even cheaper.

    Thanks for the review, I just ordered one, can’t wait to try it out.

    How does it compare to trek fuel exe and orbea rise m10/m20?

    That weight is incredible and makes the bike feel normal and not like a boat anchor. This is the bike that will lead the progression of ebikes!!

    • @EMTBVideos
      @EMTBVideos  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah. Not everyone care about some extra weight on an emtb, but I'm excited about this. Finally we are getting more lightweight bikes, they were just getting heavier the last few years.

      Well, the price of around $9,999 - $15,999 for the top model seems more like a fatamorgana, because for the money you're really buying something other than a Montenbike.

      No not really, I weighed myself two bikes: Lumen 910 L - 18.18kg, and TurboSL Gen.2 S3 - 19.95kg. First is 130/130, 50Nm, 300W, 360Wh - second is: 160/150, 50Nm, 320W, 320Wh. Fairly similar, TurboSL still a bit noisier than TQ. But Fox 36 and DPX2 are proper heavy duty stuff (and DPX2 can be replaced where Scott has a custom damper).

    Almost $16K
    I can buy a entry level Ducati sport bike !!!
    F -these stupid prices and the dumb people that are willing to pay for them keeping the average buyer unobtainable

  • @michalwiktorow2188

    Lumen 910 - L -size 18,18kg without pedals and with tubes (stock). BTW as main battery is 360Wh - and 160Wh is 45% of 360 - the display should state 145%. 😉 All of what is said here applies only for Lumen 900SL and in size "S" or "M". L with pedals is already above 16kg + 1kg extender, 17kg.

    Maybe Scott are thinking of making an e-bike version of Ransom since Patron is a big, heavy kind of bike with an intergrated shock, but Lumen is the next level. The Levo SL needs to step it's game with only 33Nm of torque. Thanks for the review.

    More travel and more torque, would make it absolutely perfect.

    Gorgeous bike and amazing light, but TwinLock on an ebike??? I don't even run remote lockouts on my XC race bike.

    • @EMTBVideos
      @EMTBVideos  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We've tested the electric Genius twice, both had the Twinlock. So it was to be expected this XC inspired bike got it too. I know some Scott fans are used to it and like it. Seems like a love/hate thing

    Problem for me, as with the pivot, non removable battery means no flying so no exotic mtb holidays.

      If its a part of the bike it can be above 100wh no problem

      Trek fuel exe has the same motor but with a removable battery so you could take it on a plane along with the battery extender

    • @EMTBVideos
      @EMTBVideos  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah... To me, the SL is just a bike that displays their latest tech, like those carbon wheels. We don't even get that bike in Norway. It's the 900 and 910 that matters, and the €7k pricetag of the 910 was less than I feared.

    What kind of review is this One, without saying the range, number of km and altitude?

    • @EMTBVideos
      @EMTBVideos  ปีที่แล้ว

      We rarely talk about range. There is so much variation between terrain and riders. During the test of the Trek Fuel EXe, with the same motor+battery, we got about 30km using all assistance modes.

    Unreasonable obsession with useless design ,It's designed to hide everything inside.
    The one who tries to hide is the culprit. MTB must be simple and tough.
    And it is easy to replace and maintain. If you need to remove the motor to replace rear-shock and if you need to pay more than over $10,000 for the Dude that even can't fit the Piggyback rear-shock.
    Scott don't try anything about MTB! Get out!
