I used to swim about 100 yards off the coast in San Diego. 1 day, a 14 foot Tiger shark swam under me by about 10 feet. I am haunted by those stripes. I expected to be attacked any second on my fast 5 minutes to shore. I only swim in pools now. Lol

I've always been comfortable swimming in the pools no matter the dept but whenever I go to the beach I never swim as freely due to my fear of getting caught in a rip tide or a real strong current. But after I watched this video, you all took away a lot of my fear I have about swimming in the ocean. I feel a lot more knowledgeable and comfortable with the ocean. But I'm definitely going to consult waaay more with my local lifeguards and surfers. Awesome video guys, thank you so much 🤙🏽🤙🏽💙💙🌊

Thank you I just crossed the U.S.-Mexico border from Imperial Beach into Tijuana. I swam around the wall that goes into the pacific ocean and landed back in playas de Tijuana and met up with a friend. Mexico is more fun to go to. On fridays the lines are hours log but not if you swim.

Heather Fell yes it’s very true today I went to an ocean .. there were many dangerous currents I was scared to go but when I saw other kids going then I said when someone smaller can do it then why can’t I ? And then i was enjoying over there until the lifeguards said everyone to come out of the ocean since there was a storm ! It was really good experience!

If you aren't sure what a rip looks like : At 3 minutes in video look for the rip pretty much in the middle of the beach.
Good to see you asked the lifeguards.
If you haven't done sea swimming before, look for your local surf lifesaving club to do a season with. You'll probably learn a lot and may even find a new sport/passion... And get to think about buying more toys!

I've been trying to swim in the ocean and struggle with a mouthful of water every time a swell comes in at the same time I'm catching a breath. It would be great to see some stroke/breathing techniques to maximize movement through the water as well as minimizing mouthfuls of water rather than air.

Swimming in places that contain marine lifeguards suffices. I can say that it gives you 95% safety, and then you can take your own precautions by checking the weather and making sure the area is safe. Ask the lifeguard how far you can swim and other things you mentioned, but the most important thing is the presence of a marine lifeguard.

📍❗️You change the sail, let Jesus blow the wind, Do you know when your going to die? Will you go to Heaven when you die? Here’s a quick test: Have you ever lied, stolen, or used God’s name in vain? Jesus said, “Whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” If you have done these things, God sees you as a lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart, and the Bible warns that one day God will punish you in a terrible place called Hell. But God is not willing that any should perish. Sinners broke God’s Law and Jesus paid their fine. This means that God can legally dismiss their case: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Then Jesus rose from the dead, defeating death. Today, repent (turn away from sin) and trust Jesus, and God will give you eternal life as a free gift. Then read the Bible daily and obey it. God will never fail you.
