So even tempered about the punctures breakdowns mechanical faults etc, then fast as f*ck on the stages, amazing driver who turned into an epic team boss. A true cumbrian hero!
A remember talking to him through the window of the RS200s 1st test rally { The Northumbrian rally} was the co driver grist or Harris? Maybe someone can jog my old memory 😀👍🏆🇬🇧
Malcolm was as fast as the Finns, no doubt about it. But he didn't achieve success as much as he should because he was 50% unlucky and 50% accident-prone. Too many retirements through crashes and offs. Very committed driver.
