california delta bass fishing on Labor Day weekend

- Hopefully all of you are enjoying your Labor Day weekend! I spent some time out there on the delta to see what these fish are up to and the bite was somewhat tough. The outgoing tide bite window was not working out for me however the slack low tide was a success! These fish are starting their fall transition following the baitfish and packing up weight before winter arrives. The bass are also schooling up as well which varies by sizes so keep that in mind everyone. You just never know how big the fish is until it fights back!

A lot of boat traffic out there?
Most of the time boat traffic isn’t too bad but considering it was Labor Day weekend, it got bad at times.

Awesome video, I'm not afraid of treble hooks, but I'm afraid of fishing in a confined space with trebles, that being with other people on a small boat. Just never understood kayak culture man, no space, no storage, cant stand on SOME, if you flip it you gonna lose a bunch of stuff. I bought a 900 dollar 12 ft jon boat and modified it to be a mini bass tracker, i can go in 5 inches of water with push poles. I just dont get it, why do you guys like to sit and be confined and space limited?? im not bashing by any means but maybe im just fat. tight lines my friend keep making cool vids! i subbed!

There’s definitely pros and cons to kayak fishing but I love fishing in one. I get a good workout from it and getting close encounter bites are fun! I also don’t have the storage and space to have a boat but someday I will haha.
