- Here is an interview of Ryan Gosling on Nightline.
Update 2024: For those wondering why the quality of the video sucks, please know that this was recorded on a TiVo back in the day as you can tell by the date I uploaded it. At that time, they didn’t have any good quality recorders unless you paid a hefty price for one. Nowadays, your IPhone or an Android phone has better quality video recording features. Therefore, enjoy what you can on this video. Thanks for watching! - บันเทิง
how can u not like this guy..so unreal
he is so sweet and down to earth, and he loves his mom. he's attractive as hell, is humble and smart and funny! omg! he is the perfect guy, if their such a thing, he as close as they come.
He's just so cool and laid-back. GOtta admire him
Should of won an Oscar for The Notebook. His eyes tell a story without saying a word. Sigh.
he is a great humble actor, not many like him.
very admirable.
this interview made me realize what an amazing person ryan is. i love him even more now. he has to be the best actor ever. and the fact that he tries to steer away from all the drama and glamour of hollywood just makes him even more amazing. i love the fact that hes a mommy's boy too. i want to meet him so bad. hes just amazing and i love him!!
Nawww now I completely understand why ryan brought his mum to the 2007 oscars. Ily ryan
Wow, I'd always known he was talented and cute but having that kind of perspective, sensitivity and brains- that's HOT!
He is like Gary Cooper everyone loves him, men and women. Oscar is coming Ryan and I do believe you will win one, one day.
After watching all of this video I am now a fan of Ryan Gosling the human being
he mentioned his mom 4 separate times in this interview. frickin adorable.
I really like this actor. Always choosing complex roles and testing himself and using his status to put light on issues that no one would have paid attention to. Great role model! Am very excited to see what movies he will choose next.
love how he keeps mentioning his mom. thats real love right there
Ryan is an amazing actor & way too good for Hollywood.
he's so perfect, it's INSANE
i agree i've loved him ever since young hercules in 98.. he's my favorite young actor for so many reasons!!
we are obviously eager for some good , genuine actors , its great to actually find one!
I LOVE his attitude towards his mother.
It.s BEAUTIFUL.
omg he has such GREAT personality more ppl's should be like him!!!!
Ryan was spot on cause Whitaker won that year. I've watched Half Nelson a dozen times. Fantastic.
he is so sweet
I've already said it before but... I simply adore him.
Hi there :) I am on the journey of exploring his best movies as well. Blue Valentine and Half Nelson were good, but I think his acting in Drive and The Believer was even a few levels above. Lars and The Real Girl and The United States of Leland were pretty awesome too :)
HE IS SO DOWN-TO-EARTH AND SWEET I LOVEE HIM
ohhhhhhhhhh ryan gosling....
he's amazing....so humble.
he almost made my cry as he talked about his mom.
aww he is such a sweetheart!! doing it all for the mom and he is right about the conflicts. wow he is just so amazingly wonderful. :)
Omg he's perfect.
i luv ryan u r an inspiration to us all!!!
Half Nelson is a excellent movie. Ryan Gosling’s portrayal of the teacher as a complex and nuanced character is deeply moving. Unlike the interviewer who is so out of his depth and his bias screaming out from his questions and narration. His understanding of the world appears to be based on the Hollywood ‘goodies and baddies’ dichotomy, but life isn’t like that. This film portrays the complexities of life, that we are all flawed and good at the same time. Great to see an American film and a intelligent actor exploring life and respecting the intelligence of the audience. Great film, lousy interviewer.
he's great. and its interesting he mentioned his mother 3 times in the interview.
YOOOO MARCH 2022
Great man!!!
he's jUST AMAZING
Oh my god I am in love with him. His Mother raised him well.
he talks about his mother
alot. lol
hotness :D
living in skid rowe for even 6 months would be more than impressive. Not sure where he is now but the fact that he ever did that tells me all I need to know
shout out from Cornwall ONTARIO!
shouldve won the oscar >:(
oooh hes soo fit!,,
whaa asif someone actually said notebook was boring!.. its my favorite movie EVER :)
makes me cry everytime n seen it 1000000 times and never got bored!
Phoar :):)
he's amazing :)
He should have won for Half Nelson too!
Wow, I've been impressed by his work in the past, but when I mentioned his movie about the LRA in Uganda, it made me cry.
There is incredibly evil, evil, unspeakable stuff happening there and I am grateful that he is using his fame to bring light to this horrendously sinister situation.
Of course the notebook was sappy... it was a romance flick for pete sake. But the character and the acting was phenomenal, who cares if it's sappy at that point.
so, did he finish that movie of the african children soldiers?
i love ryan!! Hes is such a cutie,
he been in the industry since at a young age so he's probably picked up alot of different english styles
How did you prepare for this? "Smoked a lotta crack, but I was doin that anyway"
hahah He is so genuinely adorable. How can any girl not be infatuated with him?
I just saw him in "The Believer" from 2001 and he was great. I wish him luck in "Drive" , the film he is shooting now because he is co-starring with my favorite actress Carey Mulligan and i want her to enjoy a hit movie.
aww he always talks bwt his mum so sweet lol
He was on Breaker High and for that I will be an eternal fan HA!
Well said!
"Crazy Love" song by band Pullman Standard is available on iTunes!!!!!!!!!!!!
PEACE
which interview where he said "the notebook gave one of the greates loves of my live(which was rachel)"
wow, that guys great.
Why can't Hollywood come out with more comedies?! 🎉
can anybody tell me the name of that movie he was making and where i can get it or watch it? please
@Vincenza8907 I can only think of two young actors who matter: Ryan Gosling and the late, great Heath Ledger. Ledger reminded me of Brando in many ways, but was also a total original.
i didn't really like "the notebook" all that much. it was predictable and sappy. i first recognized him as a real actor in "Murder By Numbers". i think the best movie he has ever done is "Blue Valentine" or "Half Nelson"...but i still haven't seen "ides of March" or "The Believer" yet so that can change :)
if anyone has seen the movie " believer " they would have been a fan years ago.
that interviewer needs a reality check.
u got me lol
@TiCkToCkMaRiO1473 That's the whole beauty of it, that he doesn't realize it... or at least that he gives the impression of not. One hopes it's genuine.
He rocks. There is a bit of an awkward moment when he jokes I assume) about smoking crack.
@hertogin Young Hercules really put him on the map !!
um sorry home is cornwall ON not skid row lets just clarify
he mentions his mother alot. thats so cutee:)
and he seemed very... serious about the crack "joke"
hmmmm... tisk tisk ryan
Botb😘Holiday😘Germany
Drive=magnificence incarnate full stop
@DCNCIDER Forest Whitaker did, for the Last King of Scotland. You should check it out. =]
Typical Scorpio.
he mentions his mom a lot
because of his uniquely?
HeyAllofYouIamnotJoblessIworkWithRyan
@mistoutchique And what the hell is wrong in trying?
he's soooo hot !!!
Well he was right about the Forrest Whitaker thing....
once his voice got deep he had to leave the mickey mouse club lol his voice was so fucking high when he was young
Lmmfao!!
future husband please come back to canada. i am waiting for u
wow, i kept looking at the interviewer. i think he's cross-eyed. :P
i love him! marry me!!!
omg maroon 5
Didn't Forest win? I guess his money is good then huh? He seems like a good guy but I just wish he would loosen up a bit, he's 26yrs old and it seems like he has an old soul, he should have some fun and get a nicer place to live, he has earned it.
"he's not living up to his potential." - wow I don't think I know anyone who is. That makes me real sad. I know I'm not.
oh wow gosling seems like a very down-to-earth and sweet guy.
no offense but the notebook was so boring to me that i stopped half way through but half nelson was amazing. i wish it didn't end so quickly.
i just finished lars and the real girl and that was also very good.
He kinda reminds me of Marlon Brando with his beliefs and the stuff he says...
'Gosling. Kony 07
hah, he was right
the seductive machinery of stardom? bahahahaha....cheeeesy
@jbrown91287 nothing but this is definately not going to work or did the diamond trade stop after the movie blood diamond?? no people get angry for a while and then worry about something else!!! You have to get the root of the problem!!!! Don't be so naive ... Words without actions are the assassins of idealism - Herbert C. Hoover
Ryan Gos was great in the movie, but the movie sucked overall. I think they used his talent just to make a name. He'll get an Oscar, hope it comes with a love story. (shoulda got one with the Notebook!!!)
This interviewer has no perspective on the movie Half Nelson.
He needs to raise money for that cute little girl? He's not rich? ???
He wasn’t then. Lots of low-budget movies that didn’t pay much.
making a movie to stop the civil war in uganda???? hahahahahahahhahhahahhaha :D ohhhhh....k is that going to work??? oh right NO!!! He should join the Un or something or become President of the United States THEN MAYBE and I stress the MAYBE he could stop the war in Uganda .... !
