- Ryan Gosling talks about working with Heath Ledger's ex, Michelle Williams in Blue Valentine, creating a real life with her for the movie, his dangerous bridge scene, what kind of director Derek Cianfrance is, and his next movie with Steve Carrell.
I like when he said that he went to go do a comedy after Blue Valentine, coz he just left it all there, basically he puts all of himself into that role, he really REALLY should have gotten an oscar for that
i also think it's his eyes and the way he looks at people. he has an energy about him.
Blue Valentine is outstanding, it captures all what matters in Life.
Ryan Gosling is a wonderful actor. Never get tired watching him in screen. He makes the best of his roles; He gives the character he plays human dephts and beauty.
There is a gentleness around him- amazing.
Michelle Williams is just breathtaking and gorgeous.

why ryan didn't get a best actor nomination for this and michelle wiliams did really escapes me. they're only as good as each other in a film as intense as this
i was really, really pissed off when he didn't get a nomination for the Oscars. i know awards doesn't really matter but still, he deserved it so badly. even more than some nominated.

This guy is very hot and has some serieus acting talent.. What makes me happy is that he is picky about his roles. His choice of movies are different then other actors. That is what makes him great!
There is nobody that comes close to Ryan he's so beautiful, handsome, funny, sensitive yet strongly sexy and I could go on and on and on 💞

Ryan on the other hand is just amazing...the movie was amazing, so frustrating for me to watch though, which was good, because it felt so real..

@lovetownsend I saw that fir the first time a couple of nights ago. I suspected I was developing a Ryan Gosling crush, but wasn't sure as the goriness of that movie distracted me - good movie though. Blue Valentine confirmed it. I am now drooling over him.

this what somewhat awkward. the interviewer wasnt laughing at his humor at all.
was he joking about walking over the Brooklyn bridge or am I just crazy. the scene looked like it was shot on the Manhattan bridge. was he just being nice and not correcting her?

@SilverLadyFox : right there with you. I thought the exact same thing. Both movies brought a realistic, relate-able approach, that not too many movies achieve. 500 Days was so good. Especially the reality/fantasy split screen at the party. That was genius. How many people watching, went through it. Quite a few. Myself included. All of these stupid movies out there with the friends with benefits theme or the Solitary Man/go out there & get it type of stories. Hall Pass? How sick is that theme?

It's not unusual for guys to sound like pervs when we talk about women and what kind of things attracts us to women. But when you think of a woman talking about guys and what they like it's kinda rare because women are not pervs like guys are. Next thing you know I click on a Ryan Gosling interview video and damn near most of the comments on here are a bunch of woman leaving sexual or nasty comments about what they would do to him or what they like about him...lol woman are pervs too.

@PeachesB91 If you haven't seen Lars and The Real Girl you should. I think that one is one of his best and he's incredible in Half Nelson. Worst was Slaughter Rule. Most boring film ever. Can't even believe I sat through it.

The interviewers voice is so irritating
My midget brother was able to make the best pole dancer I've ever seen fall in love with him because he ran the Cupid Love System (Google it). It's bad but I wish I became excited for him but I want such a gorgeous young lady to fall for me. I'm really jealous. Does that mean I'm a terrible person?
