- Join me as I show you round round my Standard Inside Cabin onboard P&O Ventura, which I recorded during my 7 night cruise on her in April 2022.
In this video I'll show you all the features you get with this type of cabin, highlighting some good areas, as well as those which could do with some improvement.
For those interested this was Cabin A332, a PB grade of cabin with a maximum capacity of 4 people.

The bunks remind me of the older ships such as QE2 which had the same fold off the wall design.
Ooh interesting! Just a shame they didn't fold into the ceiling!
It would have been useful to have seen this cabin with the Pullman beds set out for four people.

Hey, thanks for the video this has gave us so much info as we have the same cabin booked for sunday. Ive never been on a cruise so wondering does it feel like your on a boat, choppy etc? And also are the beds divan bases or slats? Thank you again :) x

Sadly not sure which type it is unfortunately! If the seas are a bit choppy you can feel the motion of the ocean but its rarely enough to be disruptive! I'd reccomend taking some sea sickness tablets just in case!
hey im going on ventura in just over a month and was wondering what the wifi and data is like on board, many thanks
Ooh exciting! WiFi has to be purchased onboard and your mobile data only will work whilst in port :) You'll need to turn your data off once you set sail into the ocean as you'll loose your main data services and your phone can potentially lock onto a maritime network which is very pricey!

Hi Matthew, thank you for the video. Ill be staying in a cabin a few doors down from this one. Could you let me know if you experienced noise from entertainment or waiting staff, or generally what the noise was on deck 15?
Its pot luck woth your neighbours, but worried that being on a high deck you get extra noise pollution. Thank you

The cabin had absolutely no issues in terms of noise although note we were on A Deck which is Deck 12 for Ventra not 14!
In an inside cabin are there plugs next to the beds?
Annoyingly no I don't believe there were

Awww man, I was gonna book this but the rooms are shockingly poor, so dated its looks like the decor is from the 90's, all of the ship needs a refit.
I had a look at what other ships are offering and venture is lacking big time!!!
MSC Virtuosa Iooks amazing!!
I always thought p&o cruises were the top range....I guess not.
Does the dreary decor really matter in when you get to see some beautiful countries....
Sorry to hear you don't like the ship! She was built in 2008 so is older than MSC Virtuosa (which was delivered in 2021) and quite a different style too!
