Goa to Mumbai the best train is Tejas Express Train Number is 22120 and this train departure at 3:48 PM in Karmali railway station Goa and arrived at 11:30pm at Dadar Central railway station Mumbai. This is a Best train for you if you go Mumbai from Goa. food is also included in your ticket price. If you want to private cabin in train you should book first class ac sleepar and there you have a couple cabin only for two passengers the official name of this cabin is "coup" so you just book first class ac and get into train and go the ticket examiner and tail that you want a "coup" if coup is available they will provide you.

It seems to me like privacy and uninterrupted sleep is an important thing for you guys on an overnight journey, so you should book your tickets in the 1st AC next time you take a train in India. It costs only a bit more than the 2nd AC but you get your separate private cabin with a door. Cheers! Hope you guys have a great time in India!

Unfortunately even in 1st AC, private cabin for 2 is not guaranteed. One could also end up in a cabin for 4.

    • @TheQuoteSurgeon
      @TheQuoteSurgeon 2 ปีที่แล้ว +31

@@rahulzingade99 That's something you will have to deal with on a train though but the thing is there's always a high chance that you will more often than not find the 1st AC cabins empty and even if there is someone else in your cabin, the person will also be the one who prioritizes privacy and sleep on an overnight journey, so imo it's the best bet if that's also something you want.

This happens most of the times. I have been in that situation where I want to sleep so that the next I don't feel tired after reaching the destination. The train journey with a group is an excellent adventure. If were a part of big family travelling in a train, you would have had fun.

@@DM-zb8hw Do you even know whats that comment is about? There`s people who sees videos and they dont even think of options and only believe in limitations in this country rather than better options. If you observe lately, most of the tourists recently come and they are showing how hard it is in many segments here. They stay or move around underdeveloped places and showcase povertyporn and similarly they never show what r the better sides n choices thats available in India. so We need to bring awareness not just to them but any one who carry a propaganda later on with half knowledge abt this wonderful country. Giving right information when ever we can works good. It works kinda like an Anti-Propaganda as well as better information to people who like to visit in future.. You need to put out the options available when ever some one just flare out only a grey side. stop commenting without understanding. Instead see it with a Bm. ♻

It's better to politely request them to be quite during night. Also, you can switch off the lights after 10pm. Probably their station was upcoming and they didn't wanted to sleep by fear of missing out the stop 😂. Also, there are only 4 seats in the cabin side, I don't know why there were more than 2 people in the cabin besides you two.

    Some useful travel tips
Carry 1 toilet roll in your backpack to use in public toilet. Always wipe down the seat, then cover it with layer of toilet roll b4 sitting down. Personally prefer the squating toilet as hygienically they r less likely to transfer infection.
Also, always carry a hand wash. You can take a small bottle from the hotel u r staying in.
    Same with moisturiser.
Train travel : side berths r more private. Plus you have two windows view throughout the journey n don't have to deal with noisy neighbours. Tho sometimes they r more noisy than we want .... but tolerance is key.
There is the fantastic 'Rajdhani' train that goes from Trivandrum to Delhi via Kochi, Goa n Mumbai. That has 1st AC coupes that will be v private. Also serve excellent meals on chinaware vs the plastic tray you got.
For Varanasi - book yrself on 'Vande Bharat' express train from Delhi.
Have a relaxing time in Goa!

What no one will tell you is that back in the day, the railway department had a union for "coolies", basically a group of men dedicated to lifting and loading of the passengers luggage. When the 1st few escalators were installed this same union was disgruntled but they realised day by day the average railway passenger is traveling lighter and would rather pick up their own bags than give them money. If you see men wearing a red t-shirt and a silver/gold bracelet type of thing attached to their arm with a number on it, that is most probably a coolie. Take a picture because they are a rare sight to see in modern times. Also they have the best knowledge of where tourists like to visit and where they should go instead of their plans.

Some trains do not have 1st a/c as per many people who have suggested to book 1AC. If your having any issues with the train journey you can tag Railwayseva in twitter with your PNR no immediate action is taken.

Guys as you said, it is quite common for family or friends to board the train from different stations. And when ppl arrive, there will be some noise until they figure out their seats. Also, some ppl might be meeting after a long time. I am not saying whether that is right or wrong, but just that it can be one of the cases. Overnight trains especially if ppl are occupying seats next to you or their family members are leaving, they might come up to say good bye let's say two three stations before. Just saying. Again not saying that it gives them the right to talk or disturb others. But here ppl will understand such things. Lols.. Esp, if they know that they will not be meeting them for a while. Again not sure if that is what happened. But quite common.

I just traveled on that route last week. You guys. Couldn't find tickets so we had to travel unreserved... That... Is definitely an experience you should try to avoid.
In case your journey is long you can even order food on the train... You just have to wait by the door as the delivery person would come to deliver your food. There are two apps for that.

@@GoTimeTravels It’s not only about budget. However, issue is 1st AC is available in handful of trains, so best Coach available in majority of trains is 2nd AC.
Due to high fair, 1st AC is not profitable to Indian Railways since occupancy is very low.
Sometimes 1st AC fair is higher than flight’s fair, so people prefer to go by flight instead

If people are making too much noise in the night, you can politily tell them to be quiet. That's acceptable.
Secondly while booking the tickets, you can mention your berth preference as lower berth and you will be allocated the same if its available
