I hope to visit India someday and I have decided I would like to visit Kerala the most! I want to have an Indian thali on a banana leaf! India is a country which is so rich in culture, tradition, people, and land. I might skip the mall though. There are plenty of them here in the US! I want to visit beautiful temples, lush countrysides, and wildly beautiful beaches! India awaits and I am stuck here until I find the time and the money to come and explore!!!! Thank you for your great video!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

The black thing with tangy smell which the shopkeeper said as 'Puli' is a type of tamarind- dried and smoked (it turns black when smoked). Smoked tamarind gives a tangy taste to certain curries and is a staple spice used in many especially fish-based curries and pickles

@17:39 the black thing in the bag is called kudampuli in Malayalam, the language spoken in Kerala. Translated as (kudam =pot) and puli (tamarind-the word the shopkeeper responded with). In English, Kudampuli is called Malabar Tamarind or Pot Tamarind. Most commonly used in preparation of different types of store awesome fish curries.
Nice video! All those smiling friendly people in Kochi. I was born in Kerala, grew up at many places in India as my father was govt servant. Now here in Belgium past many years. I still miss the chaos, hearing Malayalam on the streets. Last year went to your place Dublin, Cork etc. Enjoyed it. Cheers
Thanks Samantha & Caolan ☺ You're going to have your work cut out replying to a zillion comments now that you've made it to 20000 subs, well done on that, so proud of you guys! 🇮🇪 By the way that water would have been safe enough to drink as it was boiled, as I'd often drink water that had been boiled but cooled in Bangladesh in the past. It may not have the best taste but it's better than nothing! Even then I'd drink bottled when given the choice. The food looked amazing though! Strange to see that there was a Marks & Spencer of all things there, yet there isn't one in Kilkenny! In fact Co. Kilkenny is the only county on the island of Ireland without a Tesco! I wasn't complaining that this vlog went up a day earlier than normal, especially since you're in South Asia! Have a truly beautiful week my friends 🤗
You guys are the greatest..I chuckle so many times watching your vlogs...Great entertainment! Love to be there with you. Keep up the fantastic work! Enjoy your travels!! Stay Safe, June, NL
Water is safe in Kerala. Most of the restaurants are safe here when it comes to food and beverages. It will get riskier as you travel further north to Delhi, Rajasthan etc. You might want to include North East India in your itinerary. Particularly the state of Meghalaya. I'm from Kerala and currently living in North East India and if you enjoyed Kerala, you would love North east too.
@@abhinavnair4582 Well, I can't really treat everyone else assuming they are potentially racists in a place I may or may not go, right? If people all believe in such an attitude there is no point in travelling either. I'm sorry you might have had a bad experience like that and I hope anecdotal and rare experiences doesn't define how you reciprocate it in your life.
Thank you guys for visiting my country, i request you guys to visit any of my North Eastern Part of India. North East India means 8 states of North East of India ( 7 sisters and 1 brother state), come and enjoy a 100% total different traditions and Culture than rest of Mainland India 😊.
@Nature Lover India was the region around the Indus valley, mostly in Pakistan. Bharat was northern part of the subcontinent, pretty much the same as Aryavarta. You clearly don't need the full subcontinent to have a country.

@@GoTimeTravels There's atleast one tiger reserve in every state that you would go to. Do let me know when you'll have one full spare day, where you will be on that day and i'll tell you the best tiger reserve to visit.
@@GoTimeTravels kerala- periyar tiger reserve Karnataka- Nagarhole National Park Corbett National Park- Uttarakhand Ranthambore National Park-Rajasthan Kanha National Park-Madhya Pradesh Pench National Park-Madhya Pradesh Kaziranga National Park- Assam Bandhavgarh National Park- Madhya Pradesh Ranthambore National Park- Rajasthan Gir National Park, Gujarat
@@GoTimeTravels I'll list some of those down below, that are on the popular tourist trail. Kindly do let me know whether you plan on visiting some other places too. 1- Jaipur: Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Three hours drive by car from Jaipur. 2- Delhi: Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve. Five hours drive by car from Delhi. 3- Mumbai/Goa: Nothing nearby, so you'll have to make separate plans. Some other options are:- 1- Kanha Tiger Reserve: Scene of Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book. Nearest city- Jabalpur. Many hotel options ranging from luxury to budget. Many travel options ranging from flights to taxis. 2- Pench Tiger Reserve: Beautiful and quiet, because it is not too touristy. Yet, it has all the required facilities for easy travel and stay. Nearest cities- Nagpur and Jabalpur. 3- Satpura Tiger Reserve: The only place which allows foot walking into the forests. Trust me, it's a heavenly experience (walking on foot in tiger territory. There are also leopards, bears and other wildlife). There will be guides with you as well. But it is a bit off the track and you'll have to rough it up a bit to visit this place. 4- Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve: Almost 100% guarantee of sighting a tiger. It is a bit off the track and you will need to rough it up a bit, so i am leaving the details for later, if you decide. If you plan on going to the northeast, then there is one of India's best Tiger Reserves, the Kaziranga Tiger Reserve, which also has the last remaining Rhinos (very, very highly protected). If you plan on visiting something right now, then there are many options with you. Mudumalai, Parambikulam, Periyar are some of the closer ones.
Lulu mall is owned by a business tycoon from Kerala who made his business empire in the middle East in the last few decades and has now started expanding his business in his home country
Watching homeland(Kerala) from Ireland (Dublin) through Irish couple. What an Irony isn’t it. The vlog was really watchable & interesting. There are a lot of places to visit there but if we name it, it will stretch your holidays bit. I hope you enjoy there & some things make you amused and other things make weird considering cultural differences and India being a developing country. The rural part is going to be the best I would say. If you are into cities then I prefer The Metropolitan cities like Mumbai , Bangalore, Chennai ,Kolkata. Also prefer Kashmir if you’re into snowy, hilly & chilly weather. Eastern part of India is way different & least visited by tourists . But I recommend it & will be a whole new experience as it is different from the rest of India. Also each state is Unique I would say. P.s Even though some people understand english if you’re getting into conversation make sure you speak slowly as Irish Accent is too much to take for them as I’m an victim when I came to ireland😂. Also don’t drink Tap water. Boil and drink always . Keralites speak Malayalam which is a minor language considering there are 22 official languages & 120 + Mother tongues. Each state is different and holds its own culture . So basically it means it’s as same as a foreigner roaming around European Union countries.
Purchase bottled water (sometimes called as mineral water in India) and carry it with you. It is available in most grocery stores/sweet shops in India. Buy reputed brands like Bisleri or Kinley to be safe.
17:37 what you guys saw in the sack is called കുടംപുളി(kudampuli) aka dried Malabar Tamarind. It is used for making fish curry to give a sour taste.. ❤😃

Try to explore the beautiful places near you in kerala... rather concentrating in kochi alone. you may find two beautiful waterfalls (Athirapilly and Vazhachal), I am sure that will be a good experience, its only about 40km away from your stay in kochi... Also visiting vynad and forest travell would be mind-blowing treat for you... When you order food from hotels/restaurant, inform them to maintain less spicy, some hotel/restaurant may able to help you...
@Rohan , been to UK many times , don't say bullshit. Their road and rail system are far more advanced than ours. Ridiculous to see this kind of comparisons in social media. India is a developing country but UK is a developed nation. No comparisons are possible.
just keep a one/two ltr water bottle when going out. you can buy packaged ones or you can refill the bottles from water purifiers at your hotels. and yah, noodles can be dry, try them with sides. 🤣
Tap water is the only way you get clean water in India. Even restraints use them. We only buy water when the water plants are under maintenance cuz you get marcy water that time.

Enjoyed it. Cheers
Thanks Samantha & Caolan ☺
You're going to have your work cut out replying to a zillion comments now that you've made it to 20000 subs, well done on that, so proud of you guys! 🇮🇪
By the way that water would have been safe enough to drink as it was boiled, as I'd often drink water that had been boiled but cooled in Bangladesh in the past.
Great video do visit north indian himalayan states you will love it
We plan to! They looks AMAZING up there ❤
Hey nice video. If possible try visiting shopping malls in Gurugram, Delhi. You will love them
You're at the place of the most friendly people in the universe reside lol. Kerala is damn tourist friendly.. Ecco tourism is the key here..
Stop licking boots @dheeraj Paleri
@@abhinavnair4582 Who's licking boots here? Dude, they asked for suggestions and people would help with it. What did you find as bootlicking here?
@@DheerajPaleri Oh good for you then. I hope one day when you visit their country they treat you with the same gesture.
Do you know how many foreigners visit rajasthan?
Thank you guys for visiting my country, i request you guys to visit any of my North Eastern Part of India. North East India means 8 states of North East of India ( 7 sisters and 1 brother state), come and enjoy a 100% total different traditions and Culture than rest of Mainland India 😊.
@Nature Lover "Mainland India" would be excluding the islands like the Andamans and Lakshadweep.
@Nature Lover And I talk about South India excluding the rest of India when required. What is your problem?
@Nature Lover India was the region around the Indus valley, mostly in Pakistan. Bharat was northern part of the subcontinent, pretty much the same as Aryavarta. You clearly don't need the full subcontinent to have a country.
Lulu group is not from Oman .. Its owner is from Kerala and company headquartered in Abu dhabi..
The metro in kerala is a baby. Come see the metros in Delhi or Bangalore. They are godlike
Awesome video. Just a recommendation, when travelling in India, always have an indian friend by your side. Will change the overall experience.
You both are so beautiful ❤️ I wish you always happy in your life 😁 and thank you so much for travelling in our country I hope you encourage your friends and family for travelling in india🇮🇳
Awh thank you so much, that is such a lovely comment to receive, we are really happy to be travelling in india 🇮🇳 ♥️
Loved your video! Coming to food spice levels, I understand you already know that you can tell / request hotel to make your food mild / less spicy. No one is going to get offended.
Hi Dubliners, hope you had a lovely time in kerala and Lulu mall, metro station 😄….!!! I know the traffic there is a nightmare but hope you had an amazing experience 😄….!!!
Happy to see your videos, hope your next destination is GOA ❤❤❤ tons of love from Galway …!!!
Hi there 👋 Thanks so much for the message, we are really enjoying our time in India so far, Goa is definitely on our list ❤️ Hope you are enjoying Ireland 🙏
While you're in India, make sure to visit one of the Tiger Reserves. It's truly awe inspiring.
Oh that sounds like a cool idea, what area would be best to do this???
@@GoTimeTravels There's atleast one tiger reserve in every state that you would go to. Do let me know when you'll have one full spare day, where you will be on that day and i'll tell you the best tiger reserve to visit.
@@orion7326 ah thank you so much that’s so kind ♥️
@@GoTimeTravels kerala- periyar tiger reserve
Karnataka- Nagarhole National Park
Corbett National Park- Uttarakhand
Ranthambore National Park-Rajasthan
Kanha National Park-Madhya Pradesh
Pench National Park-Madhya Pradesh
Kaziranga National Park- Assam
Bandhavgarh National Park- Madhya Pradesh
Ranthambore National Park- Rajasthan
Gir National Park, Gujarat
@@GoTimeTravels I'll list some of those down below, that are on the popular tourist trail. Kindly do let me know whether you plan on visiting some other places too.
1- Jaipur: Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Three hours drive by car from Jaipur.
2- Delhi: Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve. Five hours drive by car from Delhi.
3- Mumbai/Goa: Nothing nearby, so you'll have to make separate plans.
Some other options are:-
1- Kanha Tiger Reserve: Scene of Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book.
Yo bro chill🤯
Purchase bottled water (sometimes called as mineral water in India) and carry it with you. It is available in most grocery stores/sweet shops in India. Buy reputed brands like Bisleri or Kinley to be safe.
Thanku for visiting beautiful india 🇮🇳😊
Thank you ❤ we are really happy to be here
17:37 what you guys saw in the sack is called കുടംപുളി(kudampuli) aka dried Malabar Tamarind. It is used for making fish curry to give a sour taste.. ❤😃
Good work guyss🎉.
Please do visit Munnar. One of the beautiful places in Kerala.❤
Thanks so much, we visited the other day. Its Beautiful there, our videos are coming next ❤️
FYI: Recently India has overtaken Japan in terms of #metro line. we're at 4th position now just behind China, US and South Korea!

The Indian metro system is bigger than that of the UK and japan 😏😏
That’s interesting ❤
@Rohan , been to UK many times , don't say bullshit. Their road and rail system are far more advanced than ours. Ridiculous to see this kind of comparisons in social media. India is a developing country but UK is a developed nation. No comparisons are possible.
London's tube map is very complex
so what exactly you guys expected ?, country which is maybe 100 times bigger than uk will all be in jungles and villages?
just keep a one/two ltr water bottle when going out. you can buy packaged ones or you can refill the bottles from water purifiers at your hotels.

Tap water is the only way you get clean water in India. Even restraints use them. We only buy water when the water plants are under maintenance cuz you get marcy water that time.
