It's not just the best song from The Smile, but I feel it's among the top 5 songs I have ever heard. The way it's presented along with the emotional roller coaster it brings out of the listener is shocking. It took me a decade to realize how good in rainbows is.
Also codex.
@@wngmvCodex clicked for me the moment they used it in Mad Men. I couldn't recall the name of the track, so I went looking, and in doing so, realized The King of Limbs was my favorite ever record.
This has me in bits, a powerful song. Rolling drums, hypnotic guitar, unbelievable strings. Thom and co in my eyes have been edging towards the most perfect song, I think they finally hit the target. This is absolutely beautiful
I heard this for the first time today... I cried . Why does Thom have that ability to effect us so much with his music ❤
I usually role my eyes at comments like this. but for a song as incredible as this, I'm not surprised it made you feel that way. It's a masterpiece in my opinion.
Thom's ability to communicate real true soul and emotion in his singing (and his lyrics) is like nothing else that has ever been or will be again.
@@SpookyLuvCookie I totally agree !
The man is so talented..it is impossible for me to find such a prolific artist to compare to with 30 years of career behind him .
He is for me the most accomplished artist !
Absolutely beautiful song. My favourite on the entire album. Love Jonny's subtle bends on the guitar, Thom channeling some Suede/Brett Anderson-esque vocals and the crescendo at 5:30 inspired by the THX part of Beaver & Krause's song "Spaced". Can't wait to see this performed in concert.
Incredible, beautiful, amazing!!! Thank you guys for such a masterpiece! Absolute BANGER
Immerse your soul in love.
This tune is epic. Love the way it leads you into a false perspective then assaults your senses with outrageous amounts of chaos! More more more! i want more!!
I've been eagerly awaiting this release from the moment I heard them perform it live in Brooklyn all those months ago. I can't recall ever being so thoroughly blown away by a live performance of a new song that I never heard before. Bending Hectic left me floored!
woooooowwwwwww... the way it just kept building and building... those screaming violins...wowwww
Ive had their album on repeat, im so excited for this new song ❤
This is the song that plays when each of us are being born. What a beautiful masterpiece that swells and grows and delivers in everyway. A metaphor of the beauty, hardship and ultimately the triumph that is life. So much emotion, so much power, so much beauty. Perfection
Actually the birdie song was playing when i was born
I swear, every song thom/johnny writes, on first listen I'm always like, "eh, it's alright" then after the eighth listen I'm like, "oh, this is one of the best things I've listened too"
I just listened on my phone and it sounds boring. Should I keep playing it over?
@@TSWaves1 headphones if u really want to feel despair
OMFG what a track! Absolutely gorgeous and the last third is immense 🤩Pure genius!!!
When I first discovered this band, I never thought it would reach these kind of heights. Fantastic job
have you heard of radiohead
@@ketchupdudee19 yeah pretty much everyone here has
Once again my mind is blown. Every note from every instrument is absolute perfection.
Bloody hell, do they deliver, time after time or what - this is everything I'd hoped for x10. God-like genius 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I was so lucky to hear this at the Seattle concert, I remember listening to live versions on TH-cam before I went to actually see it live
this was incredible live. thom and jonny are unbelievably talented
From the bittersweet vocals to the haunting instrumentals, everything is of a much higher level than most songs ever composed, in my accurate opinion. They always keep raising the standard to perfection . 👏👏👏👍
Love the artwork! Like the endless eons before we got here. And the eternity after we fall.
Tem coisas que só o Thom e o Johnny entregam para nós! Another masterpiece
Producing music that many would love to, but would not dare, and that's why we love them 💛💙
That outro was very unexpected and epic 😎
Whirring, stirring, ferocious and beautiful. So, so good!
How can Thom and Jonny get any better!?!! But they do ....every song a masterpiece!!! Such food for the soul. Please keep writing and playing for the good of us mortal fans. We love you 💞
I know how they can be better... they could play with Phil and Ed again .... Sure, I guess the older brother can come too.... but the bass on this is phenomenal
@@jaysharpESQ I'm sorry but I don't agree....
From music lovers to music lovers. Invaluable. Thank you so much, The Smile!
Please come back to Europe and play some shows!
actually ascending rn this is so beautiful
Never clicked so fast. We are lucky to have Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood among the living earthlings
I heard the album for the 1st time Today and it's amazing and moving
Superb music WOW !!!
Such a joy to see them play this live 6 months ago but this is on another level ❤
This song has legit saved my life. Thank you guys for the beautiful music. It's a reason to wake up in the morning.
Insanely beautiful... can't stop listenin'... I've gone over the edge!
If they keep releasing songs like this, they might become my form of religion.
DAMN, that switch-up was unexpected...looking forward to the new album!
This song is incredible!
