    The first statement of this report is already wrong: "the ICJ did not consider that Israel was committing Genocide but still released 6 preventive measures...". WTH?? Can journalists even give proper information anymore??! The icj was not supposed to reach a decision in regards to Genocide, but to see if it was plausible, which it did. It did consider it plausible and that is why it will pursue the case, and the reason why it released those 6 preventive measures. I mean, what is wrong with you??

      That you seem to be of the impression that the ICJ made any judgement on genocide should be justification enough for the journalist clarifying that they in fact didn’t. They’ve been asked to submit a report, nothing more.

      Duh! Israel is a Western interest and functions as a sensor of how things are doing in the Middle East. This conflict was created to last forever and ever. They should just declare Israel a winner and spare children and the next generations the stress. Natural disasters and covid are enough.

      "The Security Council reaffirmed this afternoon that Israel’s establishment of settlements in Palestinian territory occupied since 1967, including East Jerusalem, had no legal validity, constituting a flagrant violation under international law and a major obstacle to the vision of two States living side-by-side in peace and security, within internationally recognized borders.
      Adopting resolution 2334 (2016) by 14 votes, with the United States abstaining, the Council reiterated its demand that Israel immediately and completely cease all settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem. It underlined that it would not recognize any changes to the 4 June 1967 lines, including with regard to Jerusalem, other than those agreed by the two sides through negotiations." - un website 12/2016

      @WIDBAU 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Palestine/Hamas cannot be brought before the court as they’re not an independent state… why, because they’re been illegally occupied.
      Israel doesn’t have this route of legal recourse against them… because they occupy them.

    • @aminimahsada

      Its not possible to be illegally occupied and also NOT a State. By that explanation Israel liberated Gaza from Egyptian occupation.

    • @WIDBAU
      @WIDBAU 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@aminimahsada actually, legally, it’s very possible. Israel declared it self a state in 48 the second the British left. Before that it was British mandated Palestine. Palestine went from one occupation to another much more brutal one. Sadly, as a people they’ve been repeatedly been occupied. Israel have never liberated anyone, their whole mission is dominance and subjugation.

    • @aminimahsada
      @aminimahsada 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      from 1948 Gaza was conquered by Egypt and life in Gaza was truly a misery. Only after the 6 Day War when Israel effectively liberated Gaza did their lives improve. Check statistics of healthy birthrates and rise in standard of living in Gaza from 1967 and see how it improved. The ignorance about this is astonishing.

    • @WIDBAU
      @WIDBAU 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@aminimahsada Israel have developed a brutal apartheid state. They’ve had Gaza in a blockade for 16years… whilst this is framed as a security need, over the years items banned from being sent in included wedding dresses, parsley, footballs, musical instruments. They’ve developed a metric of how many calories they can allow in… do you know where that also happened? The Warsaw ghetto. Forget the Egyptians. Forget any previous oppressors- it’s distraction at this point. Todays reality is that 2023 was already the most deadly year in the West Bank before October 7th.
      This war will not ‘solve’ anything. Golda Mier once said ‘the old will die and the young will forget’… not only do the young not forget, but they grow up like lions. Social media means that the world now sees in real time what’s happening in Gaza. There have been protests in my city every weekend since the bombardment began. Hundreds of thousands taking to the streets every single weekend…

    For the reporter to say that the ICJ found no evidence of Israel committing genocide simplifies and underplays the court's actual interim measures. The ICJ expressed serious concerns about actions in Gaza that could fall under the Genocide Convention. While not conclusively determining genocide, the court underscored the necessity for Israel to take steps against incitement to genocide and to enhance the humanitarian conditions in Gaza. This nuanced position reflects the ongoing legal scrutiny and the gravity of the allegations, rather than an outright exoneration.
