I was 34 when this film came out. Saw it on a Supermax screen. Blew my mind then and still does to this day. No other Terminator movie has met up to this standard.
@@DetoxDeath I was quick to comment. Godfather 2 is the sequel to end all sequels. But, in regards to Cameron's work and the action genre/franchise sequels-- Aliens is great. I stand by that.
One of the few movies where the sequel is better than its original. And none of the following terminator movies could reach by far the atmosphere of the first two movies.
what upsets me most is movies back then hired real people .. talented people to do this: SFX, body doubles, make up. Now it's pretty much all AI. It has put a lot of these wonderful people out of work.. It's sad for the industry. Anything to save money as they say
5:29 How the heck the cars get destroyed like that ? Someone's really shooting at them or they spent 2 months beforehand, setting the detonations from the inside ?
They actually blew up some building to make a movie with a building blewing up! Now they would need a lot of CGI crap that looks somehow more HD than reality.

The CGI, stunts,BGM everything is top notch. I don't think they can ever make such a movie again

The third part was okay, even the film with Christian Bell, everything that came after was just garbage!

Masterpiece movie
This movie (and Aliens) really set the bar for what sequels should be. So few could ever live up to it the way this did.
