As a lover of cleanness, I’ve enjoyed this video because during my time in Zambia, our towns & cities used to be clean with no street vending. We can’t have clean towns & cities with street vending. And it’s deception to think that pecan only survive by trading on the streets than in markets. We all know where to catch a bus or a place & in the same vein, people everywhere know the markets where to go & get their food. Livingstone should now work on closing up open drainages. They can leave a little section of an open drainages away from the city where they can be monitoring what may be slipping through a damaged drainage.
I would have never guessed the streets were cleaner than Lusaka.. there’s a saying - wisdom comes with much travel.

There is a place for street vending but it needs to be contained in a market designated area

@@britjj5126 yes it's true lusaka for many Zambians is the land of milk and honey 😂😂 but I grew up there and saw it become filthy messed up city it is today and I find it hilarious how people in Livingstone asked me what I saw there (in Livingstone) that made me want to move there permanently 🤣🤣

Oh yes my sentiments exactly when I visited Livingstone a few years ago. But the inside roads and location areas are very dirty, so much rubbish everywhere those days. Hope that's improved now

What you should not forget is the people migrate from other places be it Locally or Internationally to Lusaka to Trade in the name of investment to some hence, making the City unclean & congested.

Years ago we went for Class at Chaminikuka Lodge to study Animal behaviour, the we went to the Lion cage, the were a male and a female Lion.
Us literally standing close to the cage the male Lion became aggravated and very protective after a male classmate these a twig in the cage.
The behaviour the Lion Portrayed in my heart of hearts I said that I would do a lion walk after instructions from a trained Guide, other wise I still carry the trauma. We all cautioned not to so the Professor went on with the Lesson.

Let's shift the capital city to Livingstone
A mistake was made by PF to shift the capital of Southern province to Choma a few years ago & it made Livingstone lose its revenue. A place does not need to be a capital city to look clean or to be developed. Chingola used to be the cleanest town in Zambia during KK’s reign.
Lusaka is getting dirtier each day. Please keep Lusaka clean
