Speaking of which, I shot myself in the foot socially hard when I spread a false rumour about myself. Before the start of 7th grade I was in the locker during football and I randomly told everyone I put a hamster in the microwave and blew it up. I have never owned a hamster or any rodent for that matter, and probably due to the lack of attention as a kid, I said that just to get a reaction from people lol. That resulted in some people thinking I was insane, and I didn't realize until it started spreading how damaging it could be to my reputation, as I was completely oblivious to the consequences of saying something like that. What made it funnier was a girl that never ever been to my house said she witnessed it first hand lol. Long story short, unless you really enjoy causing chaos for humorous reasons, don't self sabotage your reputation for the sake of humor lol
The trick is when you become an adult start advocating and pushing for adults to take teens more seriously and give them more responsibility and training. It's what I did when I realized how unfairly I was treated as a teen: denied the opportunity to struggle during my formative years when it was safe to do so.
Likely because they just don't care and have their own problems. It doesn't help that twitter, Tumblr and tiktok are calling their mood swings "mentaI health issues". As in, they are diagnosing themselves without being qualified to do so and are jumping the shark.

Uni is extremely overhyped in my opinion. Colleges try to push everyone to uni immediately after they leave. In my opinion, you should be doing uni after you've had a reasonable amount of work experience, mainly so you *actually* know what you want to do and you know which course would actually be worth the huge amounts of money you'd pay on it.
I sometimes act as serious as an 18-year-old, other times I'm a 12-year-old, being an adult is cool, and being a kid is fun, never more do I appreciate childhood than now when it's leaving me.
