Thank you for your questions. I have not tried using other chemicals in this so can't fully answer your first question but I have used it to clean my garage door (using snow foam) and this worked well. I have not had any problems with the FJ6 leaking but I did have a problem with lack of foam. This can be resolved by cleaning the nozzle (there is another video on my channel showing how to do this). @@AK-zo7cq 👍 After you finish spraying the snow foam, empty the tank and refill it with hot water. Then spray the hot water through the nozzle. This will stop it getting blocked with dried foam.
hey man, thanks for the review! Do you think there's any way to use that foam nozzle with a regular garden hose? or do I need to buy the pressure washer as well?
You would need a pressure washer to use a foam cannon. If you do buy one, make sure that the fittings match i.e. the fj6 foam nozzle will fit any karcher k series pressure washer but won't fit other makes without an adapter.
@@bigtedshome I bought the FJ6 bottle, and have an older Karcher K.209 pressure washer. The bottle wouldn't fit until I bought an adapter that Karcher sell, specifically to connect 'newer' devices to the older K series pressure washers. Apparently a K.209 is not the same as a K2 model.
Good point David. I wasn't aware of this until you mentioned it. Is this the adapter you used? www.kaercher.com/uk/accessory/adapter-pistol-m-26439500.html

Did find I had to turn the mixture dial up to almost full on to get any decent amount of foam. As you showed in your video
The main difference between the K2 and the K4 will be the water pressure and flow when you are cleaning off the foam. The K4 is a more powerful machine and will clean the car better and faster. When the foam cannon is attached, they would operate at lower pressure so I would not expect a big difference in the amount of foam produced.
So hearing the final word, can we presume full setting is for when it's really dirty? If it uses that much detergent, washing it wacht time burns through a lot of detergent. Just got it and hope to test it coming werkend
Now I have more experience, I normally leave the nozzle on full setting and change the concentration of the detergent. Each detergent is different so you will need to experiment. I suggest starting with 1 part detergent to 5 parts water. Always clean the nozzle after use by running clean water through it (take the bottle off and put the tube into a jug of warm water then spray as normal for a few seconds).
It depends on the snowfoam, some don't need to be diluted but most snow foams are concentrated and you dilute them in the bottle first (some recommend a ratio as low as 1:10).
I've not had any experience of the K2 follow me cordless but the connectors look the same so I assume karcher accessories like this foam cannon will fit. I think there is a newer version of this available now. Curious to see how much snowfoam (half the bottle) was recommended as I use a different brand of snow foam and it says to only use 60-100ml and top up with water. Having said that, not getting nearly as thick foam as you did. After 1.5 yrs of using the Karcher I have just ordered a different snow foam cannon for better foaming- the MJJC Pro 2.
