I liked your video a lot but it seems that omitted an important factor and that is the static weight of the paddle. I know that a paddle that is too heavy can affect ones play and arm health but can a paddle be too light? Also, while no one can dispute the fact that the Friday paddle is an outstanding value, it weighs I believe 8.3 ounces may be heavy for some people
So I’m not a big believer in the difference in static weight. I am a believer in swing weight and balance. I let virtually every beginner I play with who brings an Amazon paddle in try this paddle and I have yet to have anyone ask me what the static weight of the paddle is.they are always loving the size and spin and feel of the paddle. Can’t remember the last time anyone says that this paddle is heavy.

I played a bit. Then knew what I liked and did not like. Ended up with a j2k.
