As a diehard Armand stan, Assad is a gift. I can only imagine I feel about him the way you feel about Sam. Except I only had to wait 12 episodes to see the "real" Armand. Hang in there! Lestat's coming! If my boy ever feeds him.
As a Lestat stan, I've been struggling this season to stay faithful and not fall for Armand, but I failed tremendously lol. Assad is perfect for this role, he's extremely talented.
It was a gift because Armand was not this present at this time in the book or the movie. The writers are brilliant combining the books at will. It definitely makes a better rounded story....captivating 😊
I love that they filmed this episode first. It gave Assad the chance to fully embrace his new role as Armand no longer Rashid and he embodied it....he is Armand. Plus it gave Delainey more time to prepare, she only got the role 2 weeks before filming. She was able to see how they worked, study them , spend time with Jacob and Sam. And she delivered our Claudia came out swinging. This was everything we needed to prepare for the rest of the season. Bravo boys bravo 👏👏👏 Another nice touch...."there are stories that need to be told, "....Daniel's first words in episode 1 of season 1. 😊
This was my favorite episode of the season- the acting was next level. If this doesn’t get writing, directing, and actors nominations during awards season, then the whole thing is truly rigged! Just hearing Lestat’s voice pleading with Armand to relay his message of love to Louis- I was on the floor in a puddle❤️🔥❤️🔥
I tune in most of all to see your reactions; you capture what all. of us feel so authentically. An absolutely heart-breaking episode and one that sets up very clearly what is about to come.
If this is filler, then fill me up! Everyone [writer, actors, director, production designers, editors, effects crew, etc.] did such a magnificent job. I will be thinking about it for the rest of my life.
This episode was AMAZING! OMG the acting! Masterpiece! Im a book reader tooo and Ie been waiting for this for about 30 years! i couldn't be happier with it all. takes my breath away!
We were all mesmerized by this episode. I find psychological torture triggering so this episode was a bit disturbing to me but the beauty of it is unparalleled…
Love your make-up! Can't wait to watch your reaction. And hello fellow Devil's minion shipper! They are my favourite ship. Also I stand with my cancelled wife Armand. ❤
Your makeup is serving, loved your review! ❤ Turn up for what, this episode was bananas! My favorite gremlin showed up and showed TF out!! The feelings that I felt for all parties involved is beyond the Richter scale at this point. I didn’t forget about Lestat because he was the main reason for Loumand’s big fight. THE NAME!!!!🗣️🗣️ The whole point of the ‘73 interview was about Lestat, according to Armand. Let’s play the drinking game on the rewatch, take a shot every time Lestat’s name is mentioned in this episode. I couldn’t forget about Lestat this episode because Louis couldn’t forget. Did anyone noticed how Armand lowkey defended Lestat? He flat out called Louis’ descriptions about Lestat embellishments, and said that’s not how Louis described Lestat to him. Poor Loulou. And yes, we are so lucky to have Sam, Jacob, and Assad as our main trio. We got blessed with 2 wonderful Claudias. Luke and Eric are amazing as Daniel. This whole show is just chef’s kiss.
When you said "god he is so beautiful" I was like same!!! He really looked ethereal at start of this ep.
Also I cried at Lestat trying desperately to tell Louis he is loved. 😭
assad’s beauty has bewitched me (a lesbian) body and soul
through this whole episode I am sorry I couldn't keep my eyes off of Armand/Assad. Boring where?!
The vulnerability in everyone is so well acted!
Armand was SO smoking hot in this.
