The 1991 Washington Redskins are the greatest Redskins team I , as a 40 year Redskins fan, ever witnessed....3 shutouts at home! , thrashing Glenville's Falcons twice, Darrell Green's INT to set up the game winning field against Houston, a destroying Buffalo's hyper-drive no huddle offense in Superbowl 26!..........God, what an awesome team!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Skins gave up that 17 point lead but then found away with that last drive with Gerald Riggs to score. 7 year old me had just moved to Centerville from Dallas. I knew nothing of football and got spoiled with the Redskins crushing the Lions 45 to 0 the first time I got into football. I only saw the last drive since my parents took us out to look for a TV that day. I know this game was playing because I saw some of it when we were in Circuit City.
Monte Coleman #51 of the Washington Redskins He was drafted in the 11th round and the 279th player selected in the 1979 draft. A key contributor to 3 Super Bowl championship teams and making it to a 4th in a losing effort. His 217 games played is is 2nd most in franchise history.

Earnest Byner was a complete player who would do whatever it takes to win. Respect.
Great reenacting of the MNF Howard Cosell highlights. Sounded just like him.

Gary Anderson was the most beautiful runner i ever saw
This was the last game between these teams until 2004, and the last in Cincinnati until 2008
And there hasn’t been one since. As a Washington fan in Cincinnati that is very disappointing. Glad I found this game to watch
I’m triggered by the title 😭😭😭😭😭
Week 4, 1991
