The scores in the two games between these teams that season were 16-12 and 17-13 with each team winning at home, so a 29-29 draw. Typical of the NFC East in those days.
Wtf is that thumbnail
Great reenacting of the MNF Howard Cosell highlights. Sounded just like him.
2:15:56 his from defense 99 nasty name Marcos Coleman HT:63 like fucking woo! 😮
I miss hearing the Redskins name. 😢
The Fun N Gun looked so fun but by the end of the year it wasn't so much fun for the Skins
Portis taking it straight to the house.

Mike vanderjerk was a complete waste of money and resources...
I miss those Redskins Helmets….. - Cowboys Fan
Me too, I wish they could change the name back to the Washington Redskins.
25:14 Edgerrin James was such a quality player. That would’ve been an amazing catch from a receiver, but he was a running back who could literally do it all. James was a key component in turning around the Colts franchise. When they traded Marshall Faulk to the Rams in favor of the rookie James, many people thought that was a mistake, as in the 1998 season, Faulk had over 2,200 yards from scrimmage and 10 touchdowns for the Colts offense. That’s a hefty amount of production to be trading away for an unproven rookie running back. But that was one of the few trades that worked out beautifully for both teams. James had over 2,100 all purpose yards along with 17 touchdowns for the Colts, winning Rookie of the Year, while Faulk had his best years with the Rams and won a Super Bowl and was the 2000 NFL MVP.
2005. Redskins massacre the 49ers
I miss the Redskins
R.I.P. Sean Taylor - for the ones that know 🫡
I’m triggered by the title 😭😭😭😭😭
Nice 🪶🏹
Back when we had a decent oline
Spurrier was a disaster.
We own the Jets
Issac was too good for the nbl he was more nba talent, in my opinion ❤️
he was- he and shane heal were the most electrifying backcourt the NBL had- next to copeland and gaze- heal went to the NBA, and burton deserved to go with him imho. but if i recall was caught up in some contraversy in america that hurt his draft stock. he and his teammates at arizona shaved points in a betting scandal- that hurt all of them. only mario bennet was so undeniably good that he still got to the nba- but it cost burton his career in the nba sadly . theres a documentary on it called hoop schemes or bad sports or something like that.
Larry king's wife saying the national anthem
A year later we dump Lavernius Coles for who became fan fave Santana Moss who was also a Jet.
Osaka…Never forget Osaka
we sucked his first with Marvin Lewis, we sucked Spurrier's 2nd year without Lewis, 'welp 5-11" its so funny looking back at the blind stupid belief and faith we fans and broadcasters had back then, and what did Marvin Lewis do, basically win and became a respectable coach, funny how players and whoever made him Lewis the scapegoat for their pathetic season. Spurrier didnt even know how to practice or would cancel practice even if it drizzled saying give the guys a rest... that why we sucked butt crack and a reason why a team wins only 5 games, now i hope we come out of the dark ages
Loved this game
Shotty should of fired Dan
Man miss these old days when FedEx field was rockin!!
The #5 crew called this game.
I was at that game and barely in my seat when Portis took it too the house!
Kinda wish NFL could do another Game at Japan, NGL.
I remember being at this game as a kid. I feel like I always saw them lose, but this was the one game I remember them winning.
I really wish Gibbs had never come back.
I remember as a kid thinking this was how the Washington offense was gonna look all season and beyond. Washington led the 2002 pre-season in scoring. But in reality, Spurrier's offense looked amazing because he showed his entire hand during the pre-season, while opposing defenses remained pretty vanilla. Once the regular season started, opposing teams had not only caught on to his offense, but they saw how easy it was to stop it
Ross Tucker the radio commentator was on this Redskins team and talks about this - said that he and his teammates noticed that the 49ers were only running their base defense over and over again on every play, never once changing it. They played the 49ers in Week 3 of that regular season, just 6 weeks after this game, and lost to them 24-10 with none of their offensive plays working because SF had all them all on tape and had prepared for all of them.

Epic cowboys comeback
I remember this game was one was biggest fools gold game in our history I went crazy was betting chest out all for nothing
I split a tall boy on lady in front of me at this game. probably why I havnt been back cause the game was really boring other than Hall debut and I think Ramsey had his highlight reel that kept him around with the head duck and the completion
Cowboys owned the Skins in the reg season, but the only stat that really matters is head to head NFC championship games. Skins 2, Boys 0
Hard to believe, there now the commanders. Doesn't seem right.
It's pretty stupid
@@chrisrogers3175 It's worse than stupid
