Hi Tamanna! in this recipe vinegar is used to bring little sour taste to the noodles........ it is also used as tenderizer as it is acidic in nature.... it's hot n sour taste enhances the flavor and taste of the dish...... :)
arun y yes bcoz of that we get so many health problems. Even we eat some or the other time and may be it is a very small amount don't neglect ur health thinking that we don't eat regularly. With my self experience i am saying I had undergone major stomach infection just for the sake i was addicted to these kind of fast food.

When I made my egg noodles they came out very sticky and clumped together. Did I simply leave them in the bowling water too long? How do I know when they are ready to come out of the pot? I don't want them to be crunchy and I don't want them to be soggy.
I didn't know what ajinomoto was so I looked it up. It's MSG. Personally I like MSG but I feel calling it ajinomoto / chinese salt (its the main product of the japanese company Ajinomoto) looks like you're trying to hide it from viewers.

I have to say the pictures make this dish look good. But, I have a hard time believing the electric stove, non-stick "wok", and long cook times create a authentic Chinese Lo Mein. And yes....... I do cook a lot of Chinese food in a large gas fired blaster wok.

Ginger and garlic the main ingredients in any type of chinese noodles. You forgot to use them
